It took this shameless man 23 years to say this?

He has been given superlative nicknames for 23 years and he never once objected to them!

Now that he knows his performance will deteriorate, he wants to disown these nicknames?

He should retire before he becomes a complete nuisance to whatever is left of this sport!

Very well said Ajay. He wants to be in news now after knowing his reputation is in stake.

The first sentence of the article itself is wrong. There are only 7 billion people in the world.Only 10 countries out of the about 300 countries show some interest in this lazy game.

So where does the billions of fans come from?It should be millions of fans.Typical moronic rediff journalism.hahahaha.

India, the second most populous country in the world has 1.3 billion population.Out of this, more than half are illiterate. So,even in India, the only major cricket crazy country in the world, only 0.3-0.4 billion max. shows some interest in cricket.Out of this, many are Sachin haters. So rediff should stop making this kind of tomfoolery.
