whatever negative publicity the event is attracting one positive thing is a lot of young / retired cricketers will get a chance to show their talent / earn money..like in WWF event...other wise the young new players will be quite unheard of..
I hope these premier league premier rich people does some extended help toward drought hit area of Maharashtra... since they are playing many matches in Mumbai... they do own something on humanitarian ground towards the poor farmers of Maharashtra village who are in deadly need of support.

what was wrong with ICL? Why corrupt BCCI banned ICL? Were they not getting enough share. IPL is killing the indian culture & sports, because of waste bollywood, political & beurocrates support. ofcourse media is equally important because they are showing us the only shining part of "Indian paisa league".

Dont be a lunatic. ICL only started this bollywood culture. Backtrack the earlier events and check.
Are we so short of need in the form of entertainment this time of the year, that we can take this greed called IPL and make it part of our lives, while millions in india suffer.
This is exactly why our politicians are successful because right under our very nose a mega scale nonsense is going on and we are like sheep in a slaughter house looking at the slaughter and waiting for our turn.
