he was forced to give bad decision by BCCI, Pak and SriLankans. Underworld controlls cricket. Basically Indians are against technology and good umpires because they restrict manupulation of decisions and making money

Chance for Badri, Murali comeback if our Srikanth backs top job
by Rama Iyer on Sep 26, 2012 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

Its better our Chikka can continue in selection board rather than doing up umpiring. Our people will satisfied only for the selection commitee.

THIS IS CALLED
by Kabeer on Sep 26, 2012 04:41 PM  | Hide replies

This is called "Quitting when still on top"

An amazing judge.

What seemed quite a different decision (should have been) to the commentators and viewers on live is actually Simon Taufel's way when on slow replays; almost all the times.

He could spot even the minutest marginal differences.

No theatrics like the wing clipped Kiwi bird.

No torturous long time taken like Steve Bucknor

Even at the nadir of India-Austria relations during that tour down under, Simon Taufel is the only Aussie, all Indians liked and admired.

When the Indians wanted to choose any other umpire of other nationality other than Australia after Steve Bucknor's pathetic performance, it was a unanimous choice in favour of this Aussie Simon Taufel
