Jayasuriya says Dhoni doesn't become a bad captain overnight, but then contradicts by saying just losing eight tests doesn't make him bad. This is not overnight but over a period of a year. Also, it coincided with the decline in form of Sachin and Dravid. Well, all said and done, Dhoni is yet to prove himself in the longest version, which is where history remembers more.

cric fan the losses also coincided with the decline in form sehwag, gambhir, laxman, dhoni....
by the way dhoni has many more wins in tests than losses and also he helped india reach no. 1 position in tests and maintained it for almost 2 years with bowlers like ishant, sreesanth, ozha, mishra, etc. who helped in taking 20 opposition wickets without which test win is not possible...
btw dhoni's performance in indian test wins is also nearly 50 runs per innings...
thus dhoni has proved himself very well in the longest version of the game, which is where history will remember him...
He is not playing for the country. his game shows he likes only personal glory. He will threw away his wicket in any situation not even bother that team has to win
he is not playing for the team because everybody knows how india loose the match against newzeland in 20-20 and that perticular match india was on very close to win the match and dhoni play very slowly like test match and that is why india loose the match

the win against eng in tests when we chased 387 was because of him...and his fourth innings batting...
