Imran Khan-A foot in the mouth
by W Farnando on Sep 14, 2012 10:11 AM  | Hide replies

Why does not Imran do what he's best at doing-going after all the rich women of the world instead of talking about Sachin. Sachin is old enough to think for himself because he is an indian. He does not need anyone else to talk for him or think for him

When you don't have any work, you gossip around the world and keep advising others, if even unwanted. Imran is just doing that.

Sachin!!
by Santhanam on Sep 14, 2012 10:11 AM

A truly outstanding player without doubt. However his time has finally come to call it quits. He would be always remembered as one of the greats to have played the game of Cricket. Sachin, Lara, Ponting & Kallis would form the 'Modern day great batsmen' of this generation. Every nice thing has to come to an end someday. After every sunrise there is a sunset to follow. Sachin should call it a day after the England & Australia home series & make an end to his Glorified career. Hope he makes an Apt decision at the Apt time & doesn't drag his retirement plan too much. Gudluck!!

Jealous Imran
by NAGRAJ KV on Sep 14, 2012 10:06 AM  | Hide replies

Right from the day Sachin Tendulkar made his debut in international cricket Imran is after him, he is not able to digest that here was a man who could change Indian cruicket. And change he did! Imran used to say Inzamam is better than sachin! and now he wants Sachin to retire and see11 there are many mean minded jealous Indians supporting him. Perhaps we the mean minded timid Indians did not deserve a man like Schin!!!

See the funny logic in Imran Khan. When Kapil Dev broke , Hadlee's record, he wanted Handlee to come out of retirement and break Kapil record again. Now the same Imran asks Tendulkar to retire. His aim is there should not be any records with Indians in Top.

That is because Hadlee was a much better bowler..compare their averages please. The records should belong to the best..not someone working on records ( i am not saying Kapil or Sachin are working for records)

Hadlee played majority of his cricket in conditions far more conducive to seam bowling than Kapil Dev. Just imagine Kapil's bowling average is less than that of Prasanna, Chandra, Venkat Raghavan and Harbhajan Singh. This despite the great man playing majority of his cricket in the dead pitches of the sub-continent

He wants once tendulkar retires then ponting who is some 2000 runs away from sachin and about 2 years younger will overtake sachin as highest run getter in test matches.

Every good thing has to have an end. Sachin is no exception. Earlier the better considering his age and form.

Nation's priority is not Cricket.Whether Sachin in there or not , nation is not going to suffer. If at all priority of a nation, Upliftment of Poor, education , health care, infra structure building are the priorities. Nation is not going to weep if India wins or loses in game like cricket.Cricket is not everything in life.
