For giving loans to ordinary people, banks make a very big deal and look at risks. But why do the same banks give loans easily to the rich people? If these rich people fail to repay, will the banks snatch their personal property?

IPL Tamasha
by EDWARDS SEKAR on Sep 13, 2012 05:50 PM  | Hide replies

What Tamasha is this ? So many villages in the country are not having electricity, drinking water and other basic necessities. But so many crores of rupees are being spent on this one sport. All politicians and business tycoons are heading the cricket Boards. Food and Agriculture Minister has no time to look into farmers sucide. But having time to waste in this tamasha.Where from all this money comes? It should be probed from money laundering angle.

well said Edwards!!!
Don't worry.
Very good things are happening. Now it is time to ignore IPL and all other laziest and junk cricket events. Then only we will develop like China. Unfortunately Premier Hockey League (PHL) was ignored. I wish the same thing must be happened to IPL and and all other laziest and junk cricket events. Jai Hind

Tough times!!

Deccan chargers, bought for $107mn in 2008 in a booming market, should at least get that much if not its current valuation, which must be twice now. But then everyone is not Subroto Roy. Its really going to be impossible for deccan chargers to buy a suitable buyer.

But 100 million is 500 crores. Mind u dollar was around 42-43 rs back then.

So 900 crore is a gud money. I think any sane person will not pay more than 200-300 crores, because they have to spend another 50 crores on team building etc.

I am so happy that IPL is a failure.
