its all abt ad agency pr dictats.

sachin doesnt retire due to his commercial agents' dictats.

similarly dhoni always try to extend the match to the last over so that all the ad broadcasters dont suffer losses!
its economics which they r hiding with ind ppl.

Well said dm_sp. When we go to SA early next year, who is going to get centuries? Dhoni or Suresh Raina. SAchin has got a game that none of these players can match.

Besides, guys like Skeptic have to answer a question. What makes u such an authority to tell Sachin when to retire? Did you train him or help him in someway?

These guys are plain jealous of his success.

Talisman, while you are right about Sachin's capability in general, given his age, his reflexes are going downhill, and it seems unlikely that he will be able to repeat the sort of performances that he had in SA in the past.
Personally, I feel that Sachin should move out of ODIs and T20s and concentrate just on test where he still has a role in grooming youngsters.

What gives you the authority to say "Sachin should continue in the team" . It is better if we do not raise such questions as we all are here as armchair critics

Dhoni scores a few 50s here an there and has a poor Test record. Why dont you guys ask him to retire from tests first?

Tendulkar's record in tests speaks for itself. I would recommend retiring Dhoni, Raina with immediate effect from Tests. These guys are good only for ODIs and T20s.

Tendulkar passed the top of the game about 5 years ago. What we see now is a pale shadow of him.

his some of the best knock came after 2006.from 2003 to 2006 he was really not on the top of his game.but since 2007 he has been sensational.some of his great knock i will put here hundred against england while chasing a target in fourt innings and winning the match.175 against australia one of the best knock.unfartunately india lost the match by 3 runs.200 against south africa.there r many innings but perhaps u were on leave during those days or may be any youngster is your relative who is not able to get into indian team because of his ghatiya playing ability.i dont know how come a single person can be a obstacle for thousands of youngster.there r many frustrated person here on this website and u r one of them.

Sachin.

If Sachin had to leave on a high, he should have resigned atleast a decade back. That's when he was at his peak. Now, it's too late and he's at the lowest level of his career where he'll never come out of the abyss. By resigning now, he can atleast save some face and give opportunity to youngsters who deserve their due. There is no limit for this man's greed for money, fame and glory. Indians in everyfield are so greedy regardless of their stature. Shame on us!!!

Sachin is the gem of world cricket and he has brought glory to indian cricket. The record what he has acheived is not his personal record but he has brightened up indian cricket in world cricket. Its a shame that other countries and players respect and cherish sachin and some of us have been using un pleasant thoughts against him. Sachin is a true gentlemen whose name has never been involved in match fixing, rude behaviour towards his team mates or other players, arguing with umpire on even unfair dismissals.I am sure he will take the right decision at right time till then please be proud of sachin.
