Those who can not see the difference between Imran & Sachin, should stop following cricket. Don't hate him, because he is from Pakistan, LEARN to appreciate TALENT (or u have no sense)

yes, one tampered the ball and got prodigious swing, reverse or whatever which he even admitted while the other got pulled for tampering for no fault of his. that's the difference you mean.

One ensured World CUP Victory to build a cancer hospital and other sold a Ferrari (which was gifted to him). I hope at least you don't believe in selling GIFTS

The ban on Sachin & Sehwag and action against 5 players was revoked by ICC after an investigation and the referee was barred. Also, ball tampering involves altering the threads so that the ball swings abnormally. And was Sachin a bowler who could make his deliveries swing? I am sure that even the best cricketer would say NO to it. So Vinay, sorry to disappoint you.

Muhammed, what is the use of a gift when you cannot use it or maintain it? Many people won cars as MOM or MOS. Do you think everybody use it till they are alive? Then why make a big hue & cry over this. It was his car and he did the best option according to him. Did he sell your gift? Imran extended his stay to build a cancer hospital, he did not ensure Pak's victory for that. Dont be an "item" and support Pakistanis.

ok Paki. You can love Pakis and support them. BTW, invite some "talented" pakis to your home.

moHAMmed, forget Imran-Sachin comparison. A true Pakistani can never have a good opinion on an Indian.

you are wrong kutty i have lots of original opinions...but some people dont like those opinions and therefore say bad words, use bad language etc. write any nonsense etc. i simply repeat that stuff back to them...

the same happened here...i posted my original opinions you were entertained...i saw your opinions i was entertained...you expressed how you felt about my posts ....i expressed what i felt about your posts...

thats it...if you have been around and claim that i dont have original opinions and only repeat what others say i can only say that either you dont understand what you read or you are plain blind...

Sachin should retire
by ajay kumar on Sep 13, 2012 08:51 AM

We all know and its high time that Sachin retires on a high note.. He's been struggling with form, even on indian pitches he was bowled thrice, his sighting and response time has reduced.. Accept the fact and move on.. Difficult for me to say this, but one should move on..

Let Sachin decide his future once and for all. Only he can take a decision. Having said that he should retire when he's in top..

No use commenting on such a lame subject. Wait for a day or two when Rediff puts up this article by Kris Srikant saying "doubting his abilities is wrong judgment", "The team needs Tendulkar" and "He knows what he is doing"..... Preserve your energy till then :)

I saw Mr Srikanth arguing in a hostile manner with a journalist on this subject . He sounded very angry and was using the word "Boss" repeatedly. So much do for the choice of words by our chief selector

Offense is the best form of defense :)

Some days back, I saw the cartoon shown on cricinfo dated 13-Aug on Srikant (related to selection) saying "You never looked for logic behind my shots, why now?" :):)

Retirement for Raina/Dhoni from TEST matches..
by Jaguar on Sep 13, 2012 02:24 AM  | Hide replies

Raina/Dhoni should retire from Test cricket with immediate effect so that other 'youngsters' can get opportunities. Both of them are not fit for Test matches. Sachin should continue as long as he's scoring runs and contributing.

First of all let me clear your doubt that Sachin is not blocking any youngsters place. He hardly plays ODIs, does not play T-20s and plays only test matches. Every youngster today rakes in millions through IPL and is free to play in T-20s, several ODIs which Sachin doesnt play. Also what Sachin critics dont realie is that all the records that he makes goes in the name of an INDIAN. Thats what matters.

You might be partially right, since when a team selection takes place though sachin might not be playing, selectors cannot select a player in place of sachin..
