This is a good sign. Pujara should have his feet firmly on the ground and not get carried away by the praise showered on him particularly by the media. While I hope he eventually replaces Dravid (THE IRREPLACEABLE MASTER), he ceratinly has a very very long way to go. First of all, he has to score on foreign soils.

i am sorry sunil Rahul is far better player than Vengsarkar. Pls do not compare one of the best batsman of India (Rahul) with ordinary like Vengsarkar. Rahul also was willing to play in any number, kept wickets and remember Rahul is highest catch taker in Tests. Everybody in India knows Vengsarkar's fielding capabilities

rao i was talking in jest...any way vengsarkar is also not ordinary batsman...
what i meant was that there is strange idea of anybody replacing anybody...if somebody has to replace tendulkar it means only when somebody scores 100 centuries they will agree that he has replaced tendulkar...
similarly to replace dravid these people want that they match dravid stats...
but how can anybody ''replace'' anybody else in that sense?

in the same way dravid and sachin were never able to replace vengsarkar and vishwanath...
see the stats of dravid and sachin in their first 3-4 years...were they as good as vishwanath and vengsarkar stats? of course not? so how can we say in that in the first 3-4 years rahul or sachin were able to replace vengsarkar and vishwanath?
