DHONI YOUR TIME IS OVER
by santanu on Oct 03, 2012 04:41 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni is becoming a dictator day by day.He is selecting players not according to performance. He is giving importance to players who has a good flattering skills like ROHIT SHARMA.He has adopted/learned this selection skills from his GURU SRINIBASAN ( PRESIDENT OF BCCI ). His player selection in this T-20 World cup has shown that he is leading team India only by his name not according to his performance. He is spoiling career of MANOJ & DINDA

In India ,people do millions of comments, it is the 11 players out there on the field, who have the task of playing under pressure. It is easy to comment, but difficult to react when you are right on the field playing.
STOP BEING LOSER SPECTATORS, LEARN TO PLAY AND GENERATE YOUNGER PLAYERS. STOP THESE SILLY COMMENTS. INDIA PERFORMED WELL AND GAVE THEIR BEST.

India horribly lost to Australia and that led to itsdownfall.
by samudra blr on Oct 03, 2012 04:37 PM

Huge loss to Australia earlier made Indian hopes let down. Another point to consider is the fact that India did not have an additional spinner in place.

India 20-20

Anybody with a working head may watch 2007 20-20 WC. The quarter & semifinal matches were programmed for an India-pak grand final. One must know that ICC was almost starving after both money winning teams- India & pak were out in the first round in the previous 50-50 world cup. One must watch the way Australians and south africans performed during 2007 quarter & semifinals.

Good that India lost, at least we can spend the time in other work rather than sitting infront of the TV

You are right. India is more a country of cricket spectators than players.

what an irony that only in Indian cricket 11 players are selected (pun intended) :)

It was not such a bad performance after all...
by Anjana Suresh on Oct 03, 2012 04:34 PM

I think we should not be reading too much into this defeat. T20 matches are sometimes a lottery and needs some luck as well. If you really see, India lost just one match and are now out of the competition. In a similar vein, teams like Australia, WI and Pakistan lost the same number of matches but are in the semi-finals. Regarding the atrocious shots played by some of the players, I would say that the pressure of getting a big score (> 200) must have got to them. At the end of the day, it is disappointing but....
