looks like the Aussie deliberately lost to pakistan so that india doesnot qualify for the semis. The whole rules of the tournament are wrong can somebody explain how can a team who has won all the matches except one can go out of the tournament. The whole format is totally wrong

I am not sure if it is fixed or not. But the way Aus played towards end is horrible and their approach to the game was very suspicious. They simply did not attack and just took some singles

I do agree that Aus played some horrible cricket in the end. Same Hussye hit 14 runs off Ajmal in last T20 WC semi finals and today he was hardly in any mood to play. Some selfish motive for sure

I did not understand the logic. Kohli did not stay all along the innings like Hussey did. Kohli got genuinely out trying to score. How can both be compared?

Who will ban them ? ICC is toothless body. Problem is ICC follows hardly any rule. A high profile coach was murdered but Scotland yard was prevented from doing a full thorough investigation and matters were kept under carpet. All is controlled from Dubai by Dawood gang. ICC is not FIFA. It has no money no plan. Irish captain says they dont get enough games as ICC does not have money even to spread the game. ICC cant do any investigation properly let alone banning Aus or Pak. In Olympics, Chinese top rank doubles player were immediately banned but in Cricket it will never happen.
Even if Aussies played along with pakis for fear of facing India, the blame lies only with our team's performance reaching a stage like this where we are at the Mercy of someone else .
Now is the right time for an introspection and change in perspective . The biased , unfair and corrupt selector srikanth is gone . Now in T 20 , if Gambhir can;t apply himself and play , he should be replaced by manoj tiwari . Even otherwise Manoj shouldbe taken in to replace Rohit Sharma who should never be in this team. Secondly , old war horses like Zaheer Khan should be asked to step down . Even Irfan Needs to go after probably a year. balaji defenitely has to go . We need genuine pacers like umesh Yadav, varun Aaron , Dinda and the like . We need one more young fast bowler to pep up the fast bowling battery . Ashwin should lead the bowling attack with Ojha or Chawla or both in the department . harbhajan if he wants to continue for a year should show his worth .Sehwag has to be warned or retired. Today i was thinking it was a dupe of his who was batting . Now the biggest changes should be Dhoni , the most unimaginative captain in T 20 has to step down and if he has to play as a wicket keeper batsman , he has to play under a new captain and i recommend ( dont laugh because i have reasons ) a positive player like Ashwin to captain the side . If sachin could play under Dhoni or for that matter Dravid, then Dhoni can defenitely play under him, if he wants . otherwise he should step out

I agree on most issues. Only thing I don't agree is replacing Dhoni as captain because he can't do much when he doesn't have good players. Even the best captain in the world could not have led this Indian team further because they were so poor in all departments.

Sachin, dhoni was not imaginative at all. take the game today when we know that the SA players choke in front of spinners except Kallis, we could have got a spinner in like Chawla or harbhajan . Then the batting order in earlier games like that against aussies . he had real good players like Sachin, dravid etc and the current guys like sehwag etc younger performing great then in his haydays . Now he had to realize the times have changed and should have looked for younger energetic blood . What he says is that all his players are mature players and so he does not have to tell them what to do . This is an excuse to his unimaginativeness which he knows very well .If not the captain, then he can also play freely and score runs . he is a useful hitter .

He is too valuable for the team. Then another big change immediately to come up is the Coach Duncan Fletcher . We need to change him and bring in a younger and fitter coach preferably Indian like Kapil Dev and if required , pay more money and get kirsten back . he has a formula to bring the best out and he knows India well and as bowling coach get Donald or Glenn Mcgrath . Pay money in these areas as well as fielding coach and physio, mental trainer ( Indian top order plays like cissies when facing fast bowlers, especially guys like gambhir and even Sehwag today ) . now is the time for a comprehensive change for the better and sending some warning bells to some in the team that if they dont perform well in the next series , they pay the price . Ban them from IPL.
