other team tactics
by Prashant Tatkar on Oct 03, 2012 10:42 AM  | Hide replies

BCCI must drop sehvag immediately because he is out of form & he never play at the time of critical condition.
Australia lose this game purposely & same thing was happend in australia tri series that time they lose game against srilanka & srilanka went to the final so dhoni should learn this tactics.

If you leave your Destiny to other Teams to decide this is the fate. Why blame Australia when India could very well have batted well against Australia in first Super Eight match, could have WON that match and subsequently taken Destiny in their Control. Lesson for Dhoni & Team. NEVER EVER leave your Destiny in other's hand. Make your Destiny yourself.

And to add to this, If given a Chance Australia would much rather prefer India in the next stage (incase they reach Final) and NOT Pakistan, considering bowling is India's weak link & Pakistan's strong point. And Pakistan has had an upper hand over Aussies, recently in number of matches. Pakistan even bowled out Aussies for a poultry 90 all out recently. Hence y'day's strategy of Australia was perfectly fine considering they had their target set on reaching the Semifinal first. When would India stop begging other Teams to do favour for them. Please Dhoni and Company, learn to decide your Own destiny and not depend of other Teams to do favours for you.

I think, Dhoni is a bigger misfit here than Sehwag. If sehwag scores he will do it big or loose his wicket to give someone elae a chance to score. But Dhoni will neither loose his wicket nor score himself and by not letting his wicket he will not give anyone else a chance to score.

Even though we didn't qualify for the Semis, it was great to see the team back to its winning ways. Beating World # 1,2 and 3 is not easy in this format. With a little more luck we could have been in he Semis

india should learn a few lessons.
1. Fight to the Finish.
2. Play with Team Spirit.
3. Play for the country
4. Plan to win and not to lose

India Should learn few tactics from other teams.
England lost purposely to India as they never wanted to be in group A. India has never played as a team. Evrybody wants to a hero specially Virat. Dhonie should retire and became an astrologer instead.

No point blaming australia for india problems.
Australia had not qualified till then so they had to make 112 to qualify.
It is perfect for them that they think what is needed for them.
anyway aus would have preferred indian bowling over pak bowlers any day .

Aus were bowled out for 90 odd by pak earlier this yr. so if Aus thought if they went for target of 150 and bowled out for 100 then it was perfectly acceptable for them to make the semi finals target first

T20 debacle

Why Sehwag , Gambhir, Zaheer, Pathan, Yuraj should not retire. Yuraj as he is not fit his role in team is as batsman bowler and just see his contribution. Gambhir he is good for nothing can hardly move in field neither he can score he is total liability. Same is case with Sehwag neither he is performing nor he is behaving more he is dumb as fielder. Balaji, and Bhajji should also retire. It is time to think about new captain probably Virat as new T20 captain, MSD can be captain for 50 over and also hunt new captain for test matches. There should all together new team for T20 exclusively . We should play more T20 matches and less 50 over matches as 50 over matches has lost relevance . T20 player should also play some test matches. Reliance on IPl to select T 20 is not paying
