A solid middle class story of struggle, sincerity and perseverance. Wish him all the best and hope the country gets the next big player in him.

That's how Sachin and Dhoni started; look where they are now. Multi, multi millionaires. Hanging on tight to Cricket life and refusing to give up, despite their cricket standards have fallen to deep deep down the valley.

Sachin who decides
by Raman sSubramanya on Nov 29, 2012 08:36 PM  | Hide replies

Dont blame Dhoni. It is Sachin who decides. Two important issues decided by Sachin alone:

1. India should not agree to DRS.

2. Only spinning track from day 1 should be prepared.

Dhoni is only a mouth piece of Sachin. Sachin thought he can play spin better than fast bowling. He never thought about there is a magician in England team by name Monty.

sachin has been more comfortable against fast bowling comapred to spin on tracks which have even bounce.
He himself once admitted this once..

Dude, you know why Australia honoured Sachin - because he was man of the series in 2 test series in Australia which included one century in his first outing in the fastest pitch in the world - Waca, Perth. Though his second innings record is poor, his prime time record against McGrath, Ambrose, Walsh, Donald, Akram, Lee, Warne, Murali and Qadir are not all that bad, check stats please!

We will not recover

From praising chiteshwar when India were thrashed at mumbai and we continue to do that in kolkata aswell even when india continues to be humiliated.
I am not sure , why team is not above the players like chiteshwar or Sachin or dhoni - for whatever reasons - NO PLANNING TO ATTACK ENGLAND ( JUST PLAY SOME INDESCRETE PLAYERS WHO TAKE MORE PRIDE IN RIDING THEIR BENZ, BMWS, SPORT BIKES, AUDI )

When Sachin will be shown the Door?
So that Another Gambhir, Kohli, Pujara may come in.
One thing sure, Sachin will not retire, what the Selectors are doing ? Climax of irresponsibilty..

a family to admire
by ravi chitrapu on Nov 29, 2012 06:40 PM

It was a very nice account to read - very inspirational and encouraging. though the only sad part was the sad and untimely demise of his mother - she was a real hero for bringing him up with such principles. may he continue to bring laurels to his family and uphold their values. wishing him all the very best in his cricketing career.
