There is nothing to shout about Ricky Ponting and only our slavish media and crooked westerners make him Big! what a shame!Shame that indian media and some vested interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests! Shame Indians are so good in pulling down their own heroes and legends and a player like Sachin comes only once in 500 years,perhaps???Get some reality checks,folks!Ponting is nobody compared to our legend Sachin for the simple reason that Sachin had to face the fiery bowling of aussies and other countries too and still score 100 centuries! while Ponting or Bradman had the privilege and good lcuk of NOT facing the fiery aussie pace attack&fielding for 2 decades and the aussie batsmen had the added luxury of facing poor indian bowlers and fielding and score centuries as they want! Further all the umpires were very kind to all white skinned players and very cruel with Sachin and coloured players and so many times Sachin has been given out wrongly ba bad umpiring decisions too! Hope all world and cricket fans will realize now why Sachin is greater than Bradman and Ponting&Richards&Kallis,etc,etc!

what is that u r aiming at? one should not be bind to the realities just because u like a person.he is great no doubt but not greatest as made out be sycophants & media.what is his contribution now ?I appreciate ponting for speaking truth.will sachin do that never.it is high time he calls it a day .mind u iam not a sachin hater
knowing the stiff relations between dravid & sachin,& sachin skipping dravid's retirement party @ mumbai thrown by BCCI, appears dravid's comments are satirical.he wants sachin to prolong his stay in international cricket so that he fails more & invites more cries for his head by cricket fans & experts.
sachin should retire now. his body language suggest so. his fitness is in doubt. he might score few runs in kolkatta test. he does not need to prove anyone that he is the best.by quitting now he will remain the best forever.
Dear Sachin, now please retire from Cricket, give chance to youngster, You too started your inning at the age of 14. So try other also, let them earn, you scored & earned a lot in cricket, so happily end your cricket career. Try another, so that may be another sachin of India.

ganguly may be a sucker for u. but for many he is india's own dada. There are knowledgable cricket fans who still values his comments even if it is from the commentators box....
