Bikash, or simply put 'Vikas'
by Demons on Dec 09, 2012 01:02 PM

It's always Great to see how players fared against;

England, South Africa & Australia, at Home soil.

Thanks, for your information.

You can also compare, Dravid & Ganguly, in that case..

That would be enlightening..

Ponting&Bradman cannot come near our Sachin, folks,WHY???
by Saaani Mrichie on Nov 29, 2012 08:32 PM

Shame that indian media and some vested interests are doing the sachin-bashing for helping some vested interests! Shame Indians are so good in pulling down their own heroes and legends and a player like Sachin comes only once in 500 years, perhaps???Get some reality checks, folks!Ponting is nobody compared to our legend Sachin for the simple reason that Sachin had to face the fiery bowling of aussies and other countries too and still score 100 centuries! while Ponting or Bradman had the privilege and good lcuk of NOT facing the fiery aussie pace attack and they had the added luxury of facing indian bowlers and score centuries as they want! Further all the umpires were very kind to all white skinned players and very cruel with Sachin and coloured players and so many times Sachin has been given out wrongly ba bad umpiring decisions too! Hope all world and cricket fans will realize now why Sachin is greater than Bradman and Ponting and Others!

HERO
by rajender gaur on Nov 29, 2012 07:02 AM

At the moment Sachin is like GREAT HEROs OF BOLLYWOOD at their transition TIME who deny CAPABILITIES OF 'amitabhji, vinodji, icon dilipji and so many others'. but even having their immense calibre it is not possible for them to continue to be HERO they have to change their ROLE.
WORLD CUP was the last and appropriate TIME for Sachin to take rest and change the role in Cricket Field.
But now it is proved he is thinking of his own.

Sachin

No one can deny that Sachin has not been given enough opportunities by the Selectors. The issue is that it is quite evident that the rich skills he had are not there now in this aging hero. We keep losing seniors every now and then.It is a cyclical process which also finds replacements. It is time that Sachin made way for a youngster. We have to try the best as replacement from the bench strength available. If one feels that reserves are not adequate, quality wise, that may be due to the fact that we continued with our seniors for too long. Consider the age of Laxman and Dravid when they retired and that of Sachin who is in the team now. Gavaskar and Kapil knew what they were talking when they said that the Selectors must talk to Sachin about his future plans. Try, we must, to find the replacement and keep faith in him. He may not succeed immediately but soon he will, with exposure, as happens with most players.Selection process should not be one of looking at past reputation and bygone statistics. The process will certainly look at data; it also considers the technique, attitude, commitment and consistency in performance of the players concerned.Above all it should also encompass a team building strategy, keeping an eye on the future. This has to be done now. Otherwise the BCCI/Selectors will be erring on the wrong side.--Venugopal.gv

I dont understand why Sachin should have a different rule. He is great, wonderful etc etc.. I totally agree.
Either he should be gracious and leave his place to an youngster or should prove that he is still capable of producing match winning innings.
Dravid was there for a long time and everyone was afraid he cant be replaced. In came Pujara and Kohli. There are so many talents outside waiting for a chance. Give them opportunities and lets not speak about history of legends. lets create new legends.
time to move on Sachin. If you still are passionate about playing for India, think how many young cricketers who have the same passion and still waiting for a chance in the team.

I agree with Dr Habib...Stop expecting too much from Tendulkar and let him enjoy his game in his own way, please instead of creating such a scene...

India must learn to respect and treat their legends well&not pull them down as our enemeis want! See how aussies keep ponting in team despite so many failures!what a shame!BCCI must replace paki umpire aleem dar and britihs umpire tony hill for
the kolata and other test macth too since they were playing for the
brits with biased decisions in their favour and those decisions made india lose the match too! Whether the umpires received money for their favours is not known, but possible and umpires must lose their match
fees if they make wrong decisions or all decisions must be ratifie by a third or fourth umpire in future to avoid match fixing, etc, shame mumabutest macth was fixed since the british team were playing with 13 players, what a shame!
