You and I will be dead by then. But our great great grandchildren will be there to see Buddha Baba Sachin, aged 127 years, score his 100th test century in a test match against Papua New Guinea. BCCI will honour him by weighing him against 100 kgs of gold. He will be conferred his 5th Bharat Ratna by Prime Minister Mr Vadra (great great great grandson of Robert - Priyanka)

I have stopped watching him play and started reading posts about him many of which are more entertaining than his cricket these days.

safe passage

He has a safe passage from this imbroglio. A quick retirement would save his name. He can still play cricket after retirement by teaching youngsters.

The Legends will not Run Away from problems and Criticism. They will fight and reply with their medium of act. Laxman and Dravid are legends but unfortunately they failed to manage the Pressure from criticizers. Some people will call them gracefully retired. For Graceness, they should have been retired before somebody asks their Head. I feel Really sorry for both of them. Now people want Sachin's Head too. Its just 2 matches after Laxman's and 4 Matches after Dravid. India Tasted a Worst Defeat in her own den. Its just a Beginning. This what we people from India (very short Term Memory) deserves.

Come on, with due credit to Sachin's contribution, there are young test guns who are piling up runs in Ranji and Emerging Players Tourney in Australia like Rahane - they will prove their merit given a chance like Pujara. Dont live in past glory - Sachin might again score another 1000K, but same time a new comer would miss 1500 and experience!

Within Just 4 Tests from Dravid's and Laxman's Farewell, India tasted the Worst ever Defeat in last 10 Years in her own Den. Now We want sachin to Retire. The Next Defeat will ring the bell for Sehwag, Gambhir and Dhoni. We will only come to know the value of an organ, when we loose that.

Even though If anybody asks me about the opinion of Sachin's Retirement Saga (ongoing), My Opinion should be sachin should Retire from ODIs after India - Pak ODI Series. And also should take rest for 1 year from International Cricket (Tests) after this series and should play the Remaining Ranji Matches of this season . This will help to decrease the media attention from him and that will help him to concentrate on his Game and find his form. Within that time, the so called Head Hunters can Test Youngsters and if they managed to draw all the Series which played in India and avoided innings defeats in abroad (leave defeats after fighting), Sachin should play a farewell Series and Retire Gracefully. But if the youngsters failed to impress, sachin should be called back (if he were successful in Ranji Matches).

There is money everywhere for Sachin. He should make money by playing for another 10 years. As Rajya Sabha member he would have earned a fat sum. After retirement from cricket he should become a selector or chairman of the committee. Sona hi Sona hai .

No Sir, Sachin has been speaking to Selectors thro BCCI
by Bharat on Nov 27, 2012 09:19 PM  | Hide replies

and getting rested whenever he wanted, just to prolong his stay in the Team.

Sunil and Kapil are not clear on what Sachin and Selectors can speak with each other. After all what that speaking can be?

What is possible is that Sachin can think and decide himself whether can retire now .

Unable to say this both Sunil and Kapil are indirectly hinting at it.

My friend it is just giving Sachin a face saving gimmick. Sort of honorably retiring. No cricketer wants to say - sack him.
