Sachin wants to play in the next world cup so that he can have one more record - playing the most number of world cups. He will not retire till he achieves this.

Instead He can use a Substitue Batsman eg pujara. All the runs scored by that batsman will go to his account.

Sachin shud retire
by Ravi Singh on Nov 26, 2012 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

Can anybody explain us that if Sachin retires.. who is there to fill his place... Saying something about someone is very easy... if anybody is shouting about the retirement of Sachin.. why doesn't he tries to feel Sachin's place.. Sitting outside the field and then judging someone is very easy.. But going int the field and performing there is very difficult... So guys stop complaining about his retirement... he will retire when he will think is nothing left in him to give to the country... One Should not forget his achievement.

All good things come to an end. Unless we put players in that position we will never know if there is someone in India that can take No.4 position. No one can replace him, but someone has to take that batting position and make it his own. We see Pujara and Kholi trying to do that and we need to allow them space. Viru wants that No.4, it may allow a new opener and Viru to play No.4

You are right Sarvam, But as of now i can't see anyone replacing him at No.4.Already dravid N Laxman have retired... So suddenly One can't take a chance.. First lets see who is filling up the place of Laxman. Pujara is very good player n capable of repalcing Dravid.. But we can't judge someone by just having 10 tests on his name.. So we should wait for sometime n see the performance of the Juniors, how they are performing...then we should take ask for Sachins replacement..

Its rather more difficult situation for sachin too at this point of time dude, he only knows better when he should retire. Idiots like me and you cannot comment on Sachin Tendulkar's retirement. He has contributed more to the country's cause than us. Don't forget that we all still take pride in saying that Sachin Tendulkar belongs to India......

Sachin & Ponting
by rambabu kakkireni on Nov 26, 2012 03:50 PM

Both Sachin and Ponding have achieved so much success for their teams and countries. Age is on their sides and it is surely expressing in their last 5 test matches or so. I think calling the day is surely on their minds and it is a matter of time before they do so. It is around the corner. In any how, salute to both Sachin & Ponting for what they have achieved.

By any standard 16.25 is a healthy av. for senior batsmen. The next test will be remembered for sachin -take it from me .He is going to score 300 plus.
