thank dravid
by Jugal Ahuja on Nov 24, 2012 12:49 PM

one must thank dravid for retiring timely so that pujara got a chance when he is in the peak of his form.otherwise like manoj tewary, & rahene he would have warmed the benches & subsequently out of sheer frustation lost his batting touch.the remaining "oldie" should realise the harm he is doing to indian cricket by sticking on, despite poor form, and taking advantage of BCCI's gutless approach of not touching him.

Vengsarkar, Azhar and Dravid emerged as legend and I wish Pujara to surpass them in all forms of game. Keep it up Pujara.

Getting Pujara Out
by manavedan bhaskaran on Nov 24, 2012 07:02 AM

Just 2 tests ( incomplete) and 3 innings is too short a time to decide. Hopefully he will continue in this vein for the whole series - then he deserves such comments.

pujara brilliance

today' turning track which started turning frmom day 1 n also morning help to pacers still didnt deter pujara in anyway. thats a sign of good maturity that he has n symptom that he is going to prosper even on pacer friendly wkts overseas.
cricinfo news"There was some bounce to excite England's pace bowlers and predictably he was tested with the short ball, but he emerged comfortably enough to suggest he will be an India batsman who can also prosper overseas". this tells the story of pujara's genuine technique to prosper even in overseas (which he has done even during ind's A tours).

time to retire
by Debang Bal on Nov 23, 2012 08:39 PM  | Hide replies

It seems sachin has no self respect left.he is waiting for one 50 or something so as to last for another 10 tests.even if he scores one hundred it is time to make way for some young player.

SACHIN WILL RETIRE WHEN HE HITS THE WICKET OR SCORES DOUBLE CENTURY
Let us pray at least he can hit the wicket.
