I am terribly disappointed with the selection.where are talented youngsters like S Badrinath and A Mukund. while dashing opener Murali Vijay was expected it is sad that despite repeated failures waste players like pujari, gambhur, harbhajan, zaheer ishant are selected. L Balaji would have been much better than zaheer and ishant as he has ability to pick wickets and is presently the best fast bowler in india. the only consoling factor is no ktaka player has been picked

With this sharnu indian team bangladesh without shakib and tamim will whitewash them 5-0.All these tamilian are failures none of them deserve a place in indian team.
Why people are not talking of sachin tendulkar who ddoes not conribute lately &also his age factor? Cannot any yonster like Manoj Tiwary would have been better option?
All the players who flopped in England in 2011 are back. Yuvi, Singh ,Vijay(he played in WI before Eng , not in eng) Backwards looking team. No idea of future

even then how is Badrinath not in . He was in squad for NZ series .Did not get picked in 11 , did not get picked in tour game v Eng and now dropped. Technically better than many others

Exactly. Also why on earth have Dravid and Laxman quit. Even they would have continued. Selectors looking backwards than any foresight
What a tragedy it turned out to be!!! harbhajan murali vijay still selected for indian test team vs england... While murali vijay is hopeless, harbhajan too is not getting young anymore. He is in the 30's and what is the need for india to try and wait patiently for harbhajan to get back into form? y cant they give chance to youngsters? Though it will be very early to draft in under 19 spinner harmeet singh into the team, it would have been anyway a better decesion than trying out harbhajan singh and that too at this stage of his career? When will be the time, when bcci acts for the betterment of the game in india? No new players are being given a chance. Trying out the same names again and again!!! The BCCI contract list was enough of a hint that such horrible players will keep getting their places booked in the indian team.. Performance never matters to them. Yuvi,Bhajji,murali vijay - that means bad,worse,worst.
