this rahane is a big fool and the selectors too. They choose the inexperienced Rahane and that Murali Vijay who plays like an idiot in place of expirienced Suresh Raina and Manoj Tiwary

to start with Raina doesn't know how to play a short ball...something very essential in playing tests especially against overseas bowlers..
Raina is not made for tests..glad selectors realized this sooner
By seeing this india side for england series seems that new selection committe is same as last committee. No good perfoms by harbhajan, gambhir, sehwag, unfit zaheer, murli vijay. They are not thinking about country only for themselves to keep their own players happy.
I am terribly disappointed with the selection.where are talented youngsters like S Badrinath and A Mukund. while dashing opener Murali Vijay was expected it is sad that despite repeated failures waste players like pujari, gambhur, harbhajan, zaheer ishant are selected. L Balaji would have been much better than zaheer and ishant as he has ability to pick wickets and is presently the best fast bowler in india. the only consoling factor is no ktaka player has been picked

first of all i have to say about selection is balanced.old and new players will make a good team .about pujara i am happy to see him as he really did well in the last test series and he deserves the place in the team & and gautam and sehwag will play well in this series as even they will have to prove thier consistency which they had lost .alas its a new fresh and good team
it is a big joke that UV was picked again.Howlong selectors try these tired legs? Why still sachin? when he will retire? great talents like badri,manoj tiwary,unmakt chand.....etc are getting wasted becoz of useless selfish players like dhoni,UV and sachu.Only in India a player who cant handle pace and bounce in tough conditions get into test team after a long lay-off.We go by craze and popularity and not by talent.poor selection.same can be said of bhajji

are blind..don u see the first box??it speaks for itself...uv selected on merit...not may have guts to fight up cancer and hit double ton plus five wickets...uv always better than raina..whether u like it or not..

c r a c k hero. how a cancer fight can be related to test match selection? r u ok? there is no relation to what u think. recovery from a long illness does not mean the selection is automatic. when he made double ton can u pick who r the bowlers ? can u name atleast one of those bowlers taken > 50 test wickets.pls b practical.

first of all we should be dropped to Mr. M.S. Dhoni . He is not a fit choice in every aspect of Captaincy, wicket-keeper and also a Batsman. This is absolutely biousness and favourism of BCCI
A NEW TEAM OF YOUNGSTERS WITH A NEW CAPTION IS NEEDED TO REVIVE THE GAME. DROPPING VIRU,GAMBHIR,TENDULKAR,ZAHEER,HSINGH,ISHARMA,DHONI IS ESSENTIAL TO ENSURE COMPETITION AMONGST YOUNGSTERS.EVEN IF WE LOSE 2 MATCHES NO HARM .THE STALWARTS LOST 8 MATCHES IN A ROW WITH PATHETIC PERFORMANCES AND NO ACTION IS TAKEN BY THE SELECTION COMMITTEE.SANDEEP CAN BRING A CHANGE WHICH IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR.

It has begun.. His aim is to play 4 Tests against England & Aussie and probably make a trip to SA to complete 200th test matches. But the question is will he be successful against English attack.. BCCI should have invited Bangladesh to play 2 Tests instead calling the Pakis..
