what is there to enjoy. Cricket is a lazy man's game invented by the British to kill time. You see how the test was played from morning to evening for five days. The wealthy British, say lords and prince, etc., will booze, gossip and sit and watch the game from the varantas and balconys of the clubs. The British gifted the game wherever their colonies were existed. You can see any other places the damned game.

jiju this is still better than certain people who wish to not comment on the game, rather comment on everything on the periphery. palanisamy has his own view and i appreciate that. what i mean is ideally i would like to see all 15 sessions but i cant due to work and commitments.

Who are these fellows Hari?? Without them also CSK could have won....They are not even consitent in India team exceot Ashwin even you have BCCI president and chief selector from your state....CSK rides on foreign players and Dhoni ..no Tamil people made CSK what it achived...so dont try to go by who is from where....then IPL needs to be played with Ranji teams

all teams have players of foreign origin and other state players who plays best..if CSK have others have reliance, kingfisher, other bigger companies..DONT boast...

That CSK own because of local players..No way..Their local players are just compulsion because of Cement Srini...They ride on shoulder of Dhoni,Morkel,Bravo,Hussy and all...So counting players is a horrible idea...By the way Rkashi Ratan Shukla,Manoj,Shakib and Debabrata Das are either Bengali origin or born and brought up in Bengal...So it counts 4....do you get it now..?More over there are Players from bengal playing in many other teams in IPL....so dont think there is no player from Bengal in IPL

Chennai crowd can be called crazy only by media and hyped made by N.Srinivasan.. Otherwise to learn the sports culture they need to come to Kolkata... Kolkata even celebrates coming of Messi and Maradona with such grand welcome and also for win by Mohan Bagan so for KKR it was obvious..
Kolkata has centuries old sports club culture which no cities in India ever have..
what ever people of other places say, its great to see such huge turn around for KKR. On contrary to what others say see how even small things like winning IPL can make people so happy. Keep it up. why are other states so concerned about money being wasted, at least lets cheer its not going down any politcians like Raja - Kanimozi or ragulbaba and italianremote

A govt. can atleast afford to spend money on garland and a shawl; Other than that Mamata has already told press when asked whether she would be giving any gifts to player, she responded that we are cashless govt. we cannot afford that we will only felicitate them.
Its Cricket Authority of Bengal (CAB) who is going to give players with gold chain medals since this year they had fantastic crowd pulling..
Without serious performance, Play T20 all over India - Travel, Eat, Stay in 5 Star Hotels at the expense of Franchise after getting a Fat bid against your name.
Foreigners are there to Win IPL matches for your team, Indian fielding horrible as usual, Batting & bowling gets exposed in Foreign tours.
After Match gets over all players get to party with cheerleaders & drink nicely.
IPL tamasha continues till the next disastrous away tour gets finished.

luckily eng/wi was going on, last few ipl games were simply bizzare, so i switched to star cricket.

good question. i like all kinds of cricket including t20, which means ipl too. however, the last few games made me lose credibility in ipl , and there's always much more to look at and analyze in international matches, especially odi/tests.

if you're asking me what kind of tourneys i prefer, i prefer triangular or at least four nation tourneys in odi, and tests of course , bilateral. ..so i'm gonna look forward to when NZ play us for 2 tests. (i think we play lanka for a few odis, but so many bilateral odi may be a bit boring)

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in ENG-WI. The overcast condition ,calm crowd, wild swing of the ball -what a beauty. IPL is nothing ,noisy crowd,half naked girl ...
this year the champions are services who beat TN..the semi finalists were Kerala, Services, TN, Manipur etc. Bengal which has a strong following in football seems to have lost it..and so the latest craze CRICKET..and may be Kabaddi next..
