IPL 6- Applications Invited
by sanjay on May 28, 2012 10:02 AM

BCCI invites sealed tenders from IPL franchisees for the following 'opportunities' in IPL-6.

1. IPL-6 Winners Slot
2. IPL-6 Runner-up Slot
3. Final Match venue/Gate Collection revenue
4. Semi/Qualifier Match venues
5. Prepared to be in bottom 2 places IPL table.

Note that franchisees who have already 'availed' a particulcar opporunity in earlier IPL seasons are not eligible for the same in IPL-6. However BCCI president reserves the right to alter this and his decision is BINDING on all. Those who opt for 1 or 2 must choose 3 as well.

Watching Dwayne's shenigans during last night's final SRK is seriously thinking of offering him an item number with Rakhi Sawant in his next opus

I think he is right. It played better, probably a little dew factor. Why do you think, it was bad?

191 was a very good score whatever may the state of the pitch. We need to appreciate the way it was chased down. Also, sakib bowled a wonderful last over, otherwise the score would have been nearing 200.

He is another hyped cricketer like Yusuf Pathan. KKR and CSK were fooled by them to pay heavy price.

Yes, that is the price CSK had to pay. There were 2 close run out calls and Jadeja threw the ball wider, did not hit the stumps.

Why it is a lesson to dhoni? He has been a successful captain always. A successful captain is one who is not only consistent but rises to the occasion. He is always the captain cool :)

I don't agree.

Match fixing involves players.

Betting involves spectators.

Think before you comment. Thanks.

Good finals...
by Ravi on May 28, 2012 09:29 AM  | Hide replies

190 was a tough score in T20 format, specially playing in an oven like Chennai. Both the teams fought really hard.

Overall good finals, worth the money. IPL games are getting a lot tougher with every season.

With this kind of performance wish the finals were best of 3 games though.

KKR was made champion so that next yr's TV advertisements and ticket sales are not lost.MSD was nor worried and was smiling even after they lost the match.maybe csk was allowed to enter final to boost ticket sales at Chennai.Looks like most of the matches are fixed to boost Tv & ticket sales by making the championship exiting ( by making points of the teams very close to each other in the league stages ).

If you understand cricket check out the score card. It was a well fought game by both teams.

what would happen to Tv ads if the team playing second finishes the game in the 15th or 16th over itself? you can see that almost all the games are finished only in the 19 th or 20rth over.Just imagine what would be the state of tv ads and ticket sales in stadiums next yr if csk had won this yr.Also the ticket sales for the 2 matches at Chennai if csk had not played the last 2 games this time.

People like you will find fault in every breath you take and steps you put on soil...Unless anything prooved why barking here...? Dont reduce the emphatic win of KKR on Chennai soil...It was well deserved win. learn to appreciate and accept.
