I think Steve Smith at Number3 would have been good for Pune Warriors. batsmen with 140 Strike rate should be played at top 3 Spots in Batting. Ganguly with 100 Strike Rate should have come at No.5 Or 6. Same with Sachin.
Ganguly should play the Bangladesh Premier League. Just like Chunky Pandey became a hero in Bangladeshi films, Ganguly will become a hero there. IPL is to hot for Ganguly.

PWI gave him a chance because Ganguly's Father-in-law is a friend of Subroto Roy.
the three games 1 test resulted in 1000 crore betting now how much betting on these delhi rajashtan tie and mumbai delhi tie some fearless journlist may find out the real truth of money paid to manupulate results by 1 run?
Ganguly contributed to the loss of PWI, due to slow scoring and not able to get quick runs, He should have got out earlier, then Pune would have won.
Ganguly should try his tricks elsewhere, he is outliving the career, better be away from field, or can be non playing captain. He cannot bowl, cannot field, cannot bat, so whats the fun?

He gave PW a fighting chance with Mithun after they lost 4 wickets for just 45 runs! It was a slow wicket and was not easy to bat on.. He tried his best to win the match but cricket is a team game.. what were clarke, ryder and uthappa doing?? making dosa sambhar??

He says his wicket was the turning point of the game..... On a fair note, PWI looked in a position of winning only after he got out :)
And great to know that Harbhajan bowled economically @ 4.5 with 2 wickets. Hope his performance for India also comes good. It will be nice to see a competition between Harbhajan & Ashwin to play better....
