The advantage of being a Sachin Tendulkar is that you can make a 39 ball 37 batting at the top and still have experts raving about how great your batting is !

ananya - you obviously dont understand that on a slow deck where ball stops and jumps how valuable is a run a ball 39
one run defeat from our favorate ganguly is not Acceptable..... yes players are paid for the result not for giving excuses... Nehra to be replaced with another good bowler sitting in bench.... Batsman should take the game seriously... Ganguly can become a coach rather than a player now....!!!

True, but note this important point -
Saurav has never been a match winner ever since IPL started, neither has he been able to blitz attacks;
Sachin has in the previous seasons been MI's main stay, had consistently played over 140 strike rate. It is only this season that he is off colour like many other previous IPL stars from India like Raina, Dhoni. Basically, Indian players look jaded...but Ganguly has been that was in all IPLs so far, not just this season.
Sourav's selection of Ashish Nehra is a mistake, who was badly mauled. Only Sourav selects a weak bowler like Ashish. No other team want to touch such players.

Hi Nehra has bowled 4 overs and given away 19runs and taken two wickets including that fo SRT.whats wrong with the selection.
This year's IPL has seen many matches decided in the last over or last ball. Some of the results however make me feel that some results are contrived or unexpected. I do not wish to sound as some one who is suspicious, but are there other factors influencing the results of matches? I wonder!

Are you nuts??? What are the rest of 14 players doing??? Is Ganguly the only player in the team?? He has done a very decent job so far!
surely no batsman can go on and on at this level of cricket. time for ganguly to bow out of IPL too and step down like sangakara did. surely he does not deserve a place in team ahead of manish pandy.

It happened in the last match against Deccan Chargers. Also against Delhi Daredevils. He was indeed getting gritty 20s.
Yesterday the fall of wickets might have made him take a back step.
Pune is losing due to many other factors like Nehra, Samuels, etc.

The team started out really well against the giants. But lost close matches. If you look at their defeats, you will see that they were hardly overwhelmed except for the match against the Daredevils.

YOu are good to name Nehra, Samuels without shame? Dada is wasting bowls like his private balls. get a life. he is not playing good means he is not. Dont burn your back part, it might blast

ganguly has tried his best.But he has his limitations.Mithun MAnhas played a Valiant innings to bring the match to a thriller. Our Senior Cricketers should understand that running between the wickets is vital in T20 WHICH they CANNOT do well!
