Grading system would be a great idea..say if a player scores 50 runs give him 10 points and for a bowler who picks 3 wickets give him say 10 points and fix minimum points that a bowler or batsman must score for a tour and if he performs consistenly below in say two or three series he should be dropped and similarly for ranji and other local matches same grading systems must be brought in and if a player playing in indian team goes below the said minimum points then the player with maximum point in the domestic circuit must replace him...if he is a indian team bolwer he must be replaced by the bowler with max points from domestic circuit and so for the batsman ....i feel this would encourage players to play well in domestic circuits...hope most will agree with me on this
The only way i feel to go forward is not to sqeeze the players by playing meaningless tours..like the one they are about to play in southafrica..just one T20...in between asia cup and the ipl...and more importantly the maximum matches to be played by a player in ipl must be fixed to say 10 and it should be left to the discretion of the players as to which matches they can play...more importantly do not give the liberty to the players to pick and choose the tours they want to play...it should be decided by the board and last but not the least all players when are not playing any international cricket must be asked to play ranji trophy and other domestic tournments inorder to bring in the level of competetiveness in the domestic league...

Wife is unhappy when she find out that her husband is DISLOYAL to the relationship.. In a way you are correct. I am unhappy since Sachin is DISLOYAL to the Nation and to the SPORT. He is abusing the talents just to maintain his hegemony.. Certainly I am UNHAPPY with him..

I guess the selectors are clueless here. For one SRT is not as consistent as everyone want him to be. But the likely replacements are worse than him. So the selectors caught between current results and futre grooming. With Rahul Dravid retiring, it becomes even more difficult for them to ask SRT to step down. But somebody has to take the call.

So what if we have no so competent player.. but atleast they will grow-up and make their space.. They will be a strong team in due course of time.. India need to be paitent for that..
as long as people and media have orientation towards tendulkar's PERSONAL success, failures, scores and records...team will not win many matches... it is high time tendulkar is dropped if he does not retire on his own sticking like this stubbornly without any grace... nobody is happy with this kind of dragging 100 th century...
Sachin is jealous of Dhonis World cup victory and hence he splits the team. There is no unity. If Sachin is removed from team everything will become fine and team India will again become No 1 in Test ODI T20

I fully agree with your statement.. When Dhoni got equal importance and got honor from Indian Army and also when he said he wants to be like Sachin Tendulkar.. he got irritated and crisis started.
Even when Virat got good media coverage and appreciation, Sachin was NOT comfortable with his fame.. He is feeling shaky..since he achievement is through manipulation and not credibility.

Dhoni's name was recommended since India was blessed with Saurav Ganguly as the best Captain.. and it was mandatory for Sachin to replace Saurav Ganguly.. Saurav is a Sportsman and Sachin is Entertainer
