reason for asia cup lose
by abcdefgh on Mar 26, 2012 02:33 PM

asia cup goes to bowler also. but we are not appreciating bowlers. we are making sachin fake shit praise. Sachin played well no doubt, but he could have score more runs had he not been playing playing for records. imran khan kicked zaheer abbas during his captancy, because zaheer was not performing due to personal problems, then jawe miandad become hero by giving performance more than 100%. We dont want a player to perform under capacity due to personal rift or for personal records. that all.

srikanth is right...
by stephen dmello on Mar 26, 2012 10:50 AM  | Hide replies

Bangladesh failed to chase 238 runs target against Pak in Asia cup finals, where as they chased 290 runs so easily while playing against India.
What is the reason for this. Sachin’s century or our bad bowling.
What Srikanth stated is right, it is Sachin to make a call when to retire, not tom, dikk & harry who don’t know how to hold bat properly & blame sachin for every matches, team india loses (when India wins, they don’t bark…).

Stephen It was all about pitch,On that day pitch was too easy to bat and score of even 300 was not even safe. But fake god took sh**t load of deliveries for MahafknShatak. Now dont tell me that Australian bowling attack is the weakest, when they could not defend 413 against SA few years back.

yes..pitch was easy..so gambhir got out cheaply and bowlers had the flexibilty of giving more than 7 runs per over.. if India maade 400 runs..Pthan would have gone on record to give double century in 10 overs ;-)

agree on pitch factor... but why our bowlers are not able to defend 260 plus runs target?
and sachin is blamed for loses?
his duty is to score runs, rest it is bowlers to save match.

boss dont blabber something that condition is different..its a known fact that indian bowling is weak so what we need to do is to focus on our strength which is batting and put maximum runs on the board..a player with 23 years of exp doesn't understand this simple logic?..then what is the use of him playing

let me remind you that these average people are India and that you might just require to look for green card to not counted one among them.
It is their flag that has bestowed the identity to Sachin so that he could play for so long
It is because of their money and their whole hearted support for last two decades that he has been able to fill his bank accounts and buy hugely costly house.

Sachin has forgotten that he owes to them a good future and good team that can keep winning.

If he is thinking that he is same as even three years back, he should watch and compare his performance more closely.

It will not serve any good to be kicked out of the team, the so called rested player.

This is no govt job where he can keep coming to work and going back everyday without having to bother about anything.

When people like Srikanth say that he should decide on his own, the expectation is that he decide that really very soon else selection committee will have to get their act together.

They obviously dont want to do that but pushing them too far would be an unnecessary challenge

Had he been in Australia a year back he would have been asked to hang the boots. Steve W was not exactly playing bad cricket when Ponting replaced him... but with that replacement they ensured that Australia remains number for another decade.

I think many ppl believe that a cricketer owes them something since he was supported all through his career, this is utter bullcrap!

Sachin owes nothing and would have played for India irrespective of so many idiots supporting him, idiots who adore him, idiots who will buy things that were endorsed, idiots who never experience what it is to be a hero, idiots who sit in front of tv and make lame comments and idiots whose emotions will swing with every match ... heroes and geniuses like Sachin or Federer or Schumacher live in a different world where their ulitmate aim is mastery of their art and not worry about good for nothin idiots and their emotional vicissitudes ...

Yes, but that's IPL while Tendulkar is helping opponents win with his poor batting. His "ultra" slow 100 against Bangladesh cost us the game. He slowed down considerably when he got close to his 100. That was selfish batting.

Personal records and selfishness...
by Bingo on Mar 26, 2012 10:18 AM  | Hide replies

Is it possible for any batsmen to score 50 or 100 in every match?? If sachin decides to score hundred in every match it is not possible...so how can he play for personal records????
Sachin is still in the team on his merit...he was among top scorer batsmen (4)in a flop show in Australia...Kohli have admitted that he was thinking of 200 when he was on 183...he knows that the opportunity doesn't came always....

Leave sachin alone, he will retire if peoples stop commenting on his retirement......
