One has to pity Sehwag

Since, rest has been the reason given by the selectors and he has to tell the same to buy peace with the bcci which actually dropped him since he quaralled with Dhoni in public and also a potential threat to his captaincy.

Nobody talks about Dhoni who is the real ring master. He dictates terms with everyone and wants a team where nobody can question him or threaten his captaincy. Poor Sehwag is a victim of the politics done by Dhoni. Gambhir too lost his vice captaincy.

So, i do not feel wrong in sehwag telling that he is fit to play IPL because he is not injured at all. No one would like to miss 10 crores for playing some 14 matches.

Would anyone of us, given an oppurtunity to work in abroad for a huge sum, give it a miss? It is like that. One should be in their shoes and think.

u looks typical rajma chawal from cp or dp....btw, its a team game with a captain n u have to make a boundary before u speak anything abt team outside. if not u deserve the punishment tht he has already got. im sure kohli not going to do this hwever he lelongs to sehwag-gambhir cader

Sehwag's rest
by Madiraju Rao on Mar 22, 2012 10:43 AM  | Hide replies

Don't you think it is right time to take permanent rest? When Kohli, Raina, Rohit and other youne players are performing better it is better to play only IPL. Another point, you didn't take rest on your own; you were rested for poor form. And our shameless Indian selectors will again go for the same old team with sehwag in the team...

Rest period is over, now it is time for savage (money) harvest
by JOHN HOLMES on Mar 22, 2012 10:38 AM

This applies to all the players. Now certain players who shines only in IPL will make feast and will be more 'dhanwan'and will be selected by BCCI for one daye and test. In the test and one day they will get out on zero and bowlers will bowl at 120 km/ph and will give 100 runs in alloted overs and again they will be discarded by BCCI and again they will play IPL and again.............THIS IS GREAT INDIAN CIRCUS FREE FOR ALL

the ICC is like another money mongering business company..their prime duty is to promote the sport as well as not allowing the test matches to die down..instead, in the name of promotion of the game, they are allowing other businessman to have a stake, who wants immediate ROI and that can happen only with T20..since sharad took over the ICC, the game is spoilt..i would wish malcolm speed or any aussie or an englishman take over from him soon..
