Why we give so much importance to this game?All players play for money.They dont have any ethics.Pro.....e is having some professional ethics.BCCI is more kind to certain players.Dont watch IPL ,Dont waste your time for criket.These people will come back to GROUND ZERO.

True,Sehwag you are right that it is not like a job to be compulsorily retired at a certain age.But it certainly also is not like a govt. job that you can keep playing w/o performing.Further, Sehwag must know that recently the concept of VRS is used extensively to retire non-performing employees.So, if Sehwag wants to play then either he performs or else he will have to take VRS.In these times of professional age just on Name or on past performances basis teams cannot carry non-performing players any more.
Given the amt. of money involved in IPL,every sick,old,blind,lame,disabled,on death-bed players will declare themselves fit to play in IPL.We saw the performance of the "greats " of Indian cricket ouside the sub-continent and now have a fair idea about their so called great skills and capabilities. Indian Cricket players are like the mercenary footballers in Europe.Players like Beckham,Messi,Rooney never give their best for their country and declare theselves "injured" or "sick".Once free from national duty,they make amazing recovery and give their best to the clubs,because their mkt.price depends on their club performance.Selection to national teamd are used to increase their mkt.price only. The best thing is to select those players who will agree not to play IPL if they are selected to represent Indian National cricket team.
