Give him Bharat Ratna for selfishness
by Vipin Jain on Mar 18, 2012 12:46 PM  | Hide replies

After scoring worst century against the weakest team, he now says that he is in top form & is not even thinking about retirement.
If there was an award for selfishness & shamelessness, he would win it hands down

Fully agree, he is an overhyped person, and am sure given the kind of media we have, who failed to realise that India failed to reach the ASIA cup finals due to his commitment towards getting his 100th 100 rather than the team. His personal commitment was so high that he left the Captaincy which would meant he Thinks and works for the Team rather than himself

Everybody talking about Sachin 100th 100 not about indias loss
by powerful Goldstar on Mar 18, 2012 12:43 PM  | Hide replies

The fact that Sachin's 100th ton and not loss to bangladesh has taken the limelight of the media, forum, etc is showing that we Indians are blind looking over facts. Why nobody is talking about why we lost to Bangladesh ? As long as the foolish section in this forum, public and media keep clapping over personal records and not see the reasons behind Indias poor performance the defeats gonna continue

obsession with personal records
by Vipin Jain on Mar 18, 2012 12:39 PM  | Hide replies

For a nation obsessed with personal records(in a team game), a win or a loss is immaterial. Everybody is going gaga over the worst century made by him against the weakest team & there is no regret about losing to a lowest ranked team.

And now the fellow taking advantage of this euphoria, says that he is in top farm & is not even thinking of retiring....he thinks that people are foolish to believe him.
IF THERE IS AN AWARD FOR SELFISHNESS, HE WOULD BE AN OUTRIGHT WINNER

What about his score less than 100 ?
by SMP on Mar 18, 2012 12:28 PM  | Hide replies

WHY are we discussing about only his 100s , what about his 40s , 50s, 60s and 80s ??? is it not a great contribution to the team's success ?

sachin tells lie
by abcdefgh on Mar 18, 2012 12:23 PM

sachin is no doubt one of the best batsman. He is better that all batsman if over game formate is considered. But he is not great forget about greatest cricketer. Reason, two lie he use tell in media now adays, frist i am not plating for milestone, second i am giving 100% commitment. He can contribute much more than what he did, if he is not playing like selfish man. He is not great because he is committed to team as per his calliber. Greats should contribute more than his capability. Like, stew voug,imran khan, mahinder amarnath, inzamam, miandad, kumble, kallis etc.

only 53/100 resulted in victories...most useless ever.......
by TEE BONE on Mar 18, 2012 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

such a useless fellow he was and is.............India would had definitely done better without him
This proves how selfish he was and is........
the victories include
Australia = 11 (all in asia only 1 in sydney)
Bangladesh = 4 (all in asia)
England = 3 (2 in asia 1 in england)
Kenya = 4 (2 in asia 2 abroad)
Namibia = 1
New Zealand = 6 (4 in asia 2 in New Zealand)
Pakistan = 2 (in asia)
South Africa = 4 (all in India)
Sri Lanka = 8 (7 in asia 1 in england)
West Indies = 3 (2 in india 2 abroad)
Zimbabwe = 6 (4 in asia 2 abroad)
This makes it clear that he can only play on docile Asian tracks against minnows or a hapless opposition and has ALWAYS failed when needed the most.....
Most SHAMELESS EVER BORN...........

he is the most overhyped sportsperson on this planet.
and this can only happen in a country like India that is devoid of any real sporting heroes and media just latches onto any half baked hero the moment they realize that it can up their TRP's...

Once Great Abdul Kalam said about Israeli News Paper, how they write the article to project the big achievements in the Front page and avoid all bomb blast etc publish in a corner.. Similar way all developed countries too project their sportsperson achievements in in the headline and the people praise them... they don't criticize to demoralize a person. Shame on you all criticizing great sports person......

SMP: get first hand info about ur gr8 sportsperson from google by searching for the phrase "sachin tendulkar cheating" and view the youtube videos...
The most funniest part is that of Rahul Dravid, where he did not trust a teammate with whom he has shared the dressing room for nearly one and half decades.

Oh What a committment !!!!!
by Mahendra on Mar 18, 2012 12:17 PM  | Hide replies

if one searches in google with the phrase "Sachin Tendulkar cheating" there r several youtube videos that show his commitment, integrity in poor light....

for instance in one IPL game he falsely claimed the catch of Rahul Dravid, but rahul inspite of sharing the dressing room with sachin for nearly 2 decades did not trust him and asked for a referral...
It turned out that the catch was not taken cleanly and crowd booooooed.....
