why did virat fail to score a century. why did raina score only fifty and get out. why was he slow to become run out. whwere were our bowlers why could thy not defend the total. dhoni scored but not jadeja. our spinners gave away more runs than bangladeshi.

Your questions have no meaning.

Raina came at the slog end - he couldn't have scored more than 50 anyway. His job was to increase the scoring rate which was miserably affected by Sachin's century.
Virat is a human being - he can't score 100 in every match. But still he made at least 50. Do you recall Sachin being as consistent anytime in RECENT YEARS as Virat is now?

We were short of at least 30 runs because of Sachin's century.

The loss was purely because of Sachin. There is no doubt.

Indian team will see the light of the day, when Sachin retires.

My point is already reflecting your point in a way. Given that our bowling is already weak, we should give them as much runs as possible to defend.

Remember, we scored 300 in the same ground when Sachin failed. This is already a proof that he is a liability to the team now a days.

thats ridiculous....if our bowlers cant defend 290 against bangladesh....then they have to make atleast 500 runs to defend against Australia or south africa......so stop blaming sachin for the defeat.....the loss is becoz of our pathetic and third grade bowlers.....

What hypocrisy. Kohli is a human and Tendulkar is'nt? As for consistency Tendulkar hasn't played that well only after the World Cup. Before that he was quite consistent. As for the loss, Pathan would have found a way to concede those 30 runs you talk about. Tendulkar will not last forever. But if at all people are expecting more out of Indian cricket team it is because of the Fab Five - Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly and Kumble. Three are already retired. Sure others have contributed, but these five were the back bone. Enjoy the other two while you can, because it won't be long. It is only when they are all gone, will you realize how tough it will be to achieve even a fraction of what these guys have.

The problem with you guys is that you do not want to accept facts. No wonder congress gets re-elected. Even after witnessing the blunt selfishness displayed by tendulkar and religiously followed by Kohli (both of whom had priorotised personal landmarks) you guys still want to defend. If you cant defend try to blame some one else. How does that wash away Sachin's diservice to the country?

We have all d right to defend..d same way u have to right to criticize :) .. so its ok for for an international bowler like pathan to crumble under pressure .. lets make Sachin scapegoat.. Had Indian been 320 ..it would have still lost seeing the kind of bowling..

Dear Pathak Jee,

Why to look only the darker side? Why not the Youngsters feeling a shame that they cant match with an Old Monk :)

one more thing, there are many Youngsters in the bowling department and they are showing the class. We need another old monk as Zaheer..

There are Youngsters like, Raina(reaching 30), Sharma,Irfan,Yusuf, Dinda, Ashwin etc etc who are showing their class...

Please do not apply "IF" clause. In that sense if Sachin would have played for other country, he could have scored more runs by playing weak bowling of Indians
