What a silly thinking who can make lot of runs how he will retire. We self retire from our present job because our contribution not for india only self.
agreed. He is the greatest. pl retire him. At least now. People who matter in Indian cricket need to take some hard decisions. For ex a) seperate teams for Tests and ODI 's b) Grassy seaming pitches for domestic cricket d) Look beyond the same 2 to 4 'youngsters' that have been tried and failed many times.
I am eagerly waiting for Sachin's retirement announcement. Hope he retires now and give Indian team a chance to improve. We are not afford to lose too many matches for him to get his milestones.
I am sure Sachin already realizes this. But, I wish he is brave enough to accept the reality and call it a day.

on the tour to South Africa in 2010-11, Tendulkar scored hundreds in two out of three Tests, but India won the game in which he didn't score one. In the World Cup that followed, India tied and lost the two matches in which he scored hundreds.
And then, of course, there was the 100th hundred itself, which resulted in India's first ODI defeat against Bangladesh in five years.
That means none of Tendulkar's last five international hundreds have resulted in victories

Mr.Vikas, what is your take on the other players in those matches you mentioned. How narrow could your thinking be? What all guys like you have problem with? He is rich. He is famous. He had a Sports car for which he had bungled the taxes. He is playing selfish. And nobody tells that the other innings which he played selfishly won us many matches. Ok its a fact that he is not a match winner say like Richards. BUt that doesnt take away the fact that he is more better batsmen than many. He should retire when there is a good replacement for him. Not the Rohit Sharma. I think Pujara is the next mini Sachin. But wait and have patience till a good replacement is available. And dont make harsh judgements on heoes like Sachin.
The biggest slap was given. Of course shameless and thick-skinned that he is, he would least bother about the way he put the country to shame. What I was unhappy was that a good player like Kohli so quickly learnt to be like sachin with regard to his selfish behavior.

first all critics play cricket and then comment. this is undoubtedly a benchmark which is difficult to be broken.

Wish we had only couple of more players who can at least play for themselves if not for the team, Indian team would have been a lot better and would not lose to a team like Bangladesh..!
