True. His statements clearly imply this fact. But the BCCI's statements also are very unprofessional, when they openly say, that Tendulkar will decide when he wants to retire. It clearly shows how our teams are selected. That's probably one of the few reasons for us to still languish in this game. When selection criterion is not restricted to fitness, skills and abilities of players and more colored towards pulling crowds for a game, this was bound to happen. Now Sachin can happily retire and start compering and build another empire post his 23 glorious years of play.
We need Harbhajan Singh back in the side then only we can start winning the matches....we all have seen what ashwin is doing....he is not able to contain the runs at all...even bangladeshis are hitting him for runs....we are loosing the matches bcoz Ashwin who is the spinner should contain runs at the middle of the innings which he is unable to do...and in which bhajji is a class act....Common Srrikanth stop being bias....bring bhajji back

I think it is a rushed opinion based on one or very few matches. Bhajji was good, but, before he was left out of the team his performance was almost continuously only modest in several matches.

I agree that he needed that axing..but it's too long now...and he is getting back in form...match against Maharashtra was a sign of it where he took 3/35 and scored a match winning 79...

Aswin was introduced for bowing only at the 22 over where Dhoni was using raina and rohit sharma. The bangla batsmen could set themselves in so that they could handle aswin. Still Aswin was the only baller who could restrict them a bit even after he was introduced at late by Dhoni. You can see Aswin strike at the early against srilanka and along with Pathan could restrict Lanka. But here I think, Dhoni missed the trick.

Dude there has been many occasions where harbhajan has been introduced after 20 overs...but then also he was able to contain the batsmen....it doesn't mean that the batsmen is set then U cannot contain him....that's the different between the great bowler and a good bowler.....
So finally my worst fears have come true. Tendulkar gets century and india looses. In his 98th match drawn with england. In his 99th we lost to south africa, now on his 100th india lost to BANGLADESH. Even Bangladesh will win if SRT scores a century.
Tinda seems destined to the ranji format, praveen irfan and vinay are just plain trundlers... asswin seems to nursing an injury and has become too predicatable

How can a team win when there are jai chands in the team,dude??? Bangla desh must tank Irfathan for their win!Did irfan not play for bangla desh??? he gave 20 runs in one over!drop irfan from our side forever, he does not merit a place in the team,shame,irfan
this guy gets run in asian pitches and majority of match we lost ....wats is good for india ...is india playing for individual records or for country...only happens in india...

all respect given to sachin, but yesterdays century was really disappointing, i would rate it as sachins worst century, seriously played only for his record, and it meant india were short minimum 30 runs, and proved costly, helped by our very poor bowling, all said, SACHIN is a real good player, but yesterdays century isnt good at all

In Bradman's time,there were only useless bowlers who were bowling at a speed of less 60 km per hour and hence NO comparison can be made with great Sachin since in Sachin's time bowlers are bowling at 140 km and above, Get a life and get a reality check,folks!where is the comparsion between bradman&sachin, it is crooked westerners&their agents who want to show their superioriy who shout that Bradman is greatest and all the garbage!What a Shame!

yesterday - 41st over ,srt on strike@98 ; first 3 balls are played for dot , 4th he takes a single to move to 99, 5th raina blocks & on 6th he takes a single. next over - 42nd raina blasts a six on the 2nd ball after takin a couple on 1st ball , but our great sunny gavaskar was lamenting the fact that SRT is not on strike to complete his 100th.
everybody saw the slowest ton from the graetest that too against bangladesh , which cost india the match. then he says it was a slow track , ball was not coming on to the bat but how come for raina it became a fast track.
