Rahul has really contributed a lot to Indian cricket. At times when there was no specialist keeper, he even came forward to keep for the team. What a sportmanship. However Indian cricket especially BCCI is very unkind to him.
One thing is not clear, why a fixer like Srinivasan present in press meeting. Probably not to allow Rahul to speak the state of cricket dirty affairs in India

If any cricketer deserves Bharat Ratna, Rahul Dravid desrves it. He has been a great cricketer all his career. He has taken maximum number of catches. Won hearts of millions in this country.He has not played for records.

i still remember 1998-2003.
Scenario was when dravid comes

people used to switched of tv sets & go to study or on lunch or take a leak.

absolute zero voice in spectators most of them go out to have lunch.

fielders used to stand idle for hours.

comentrators yawning..

bowlers slowing up with short run-up.

umpires watching with no expressions.

Sorry its truth.
but truth also is after immense competition from Yuvi, Gambhir, sehwag, vvs he improved a lot aft 2003.
