To be fair, all the cricketers from Karnataka who represented India have been great cricketers and outstanding human beings such as Chandrasekar, Prasanna, GR Vishwanath, Venkatesh Prasad, Brijesh Patel, Srinath, Kumble and Rahul is no exception!!!

Donno till Vishy! But the rest were not only gr8 cricketers but also controvery-free which is totally commendable!
When you look for any cricketer who was super competent, a class, very decent, non-controversial, a role model, one who delivered when it mattered, a team player all the time, a coagulating force, unselfish you can thing of only one name - Rahul Dravid!!! What an outstanding human being. Congratulations on an illustrious journey as a cricketer. Good luck in any and all future endeavours
