it's a commendable effort to take > 300 test wickets. he started great but rapidly faded , a much better odi bowler for sure though. and in tests, lee averages a miserable 61 with an sr. rate of 105 in hostile conditions in asia.

sachin has generally had it good against lee, with a healthy 50 plus avg when brett lee was in the squad (in tests) , both in ind and aus, including the double hundred.

I think Arjun Tendulkar in his first interview will say that It was a great experience in batting with Sachin Tendulkar and it would be great if he plays a guiding role in the batting lineup for the 2020 world cup.

Brand management
by radhakrishna murthy on Jul 16, 2012 10:44 AM  | Hide replies

Only we public can kick this leech Tendulkar out. Most know what brand management is about. Strong brand is what attracts advertisers and sponsorers. Tendulkar only aim after world cup is money now. I dont see any major aim in which he can fit in. Public should neglect current brand product which tendulkar endorses. This will create negative impact in market. Brand lies in the eye of public.Once it happens all sponsorers and advertisers will pull contract with him. Once BCCI sees he is not bringing money to BCCI, BCCI itself will kick this tendu and then Tendulkar will proceed to Parliament and use his MPgiri and loot money. Main thing is money should come

Tendu is shameless money monger
by radhakrishna murthy on Jul 16, 2012 10:33 AM  | Hide replies

Mark my words. Retirement and giving chance to youngsters, playing for nation and wearing India cap and enjoying cricket is just a public gimmick to play with emotional indians sentiments. He know Indians are sentimental about patriotism. Google and find out till when he is likely to play. Google these brands
All these contract states that deal is active until Tendulkar plays active cricket and can be cancelled if he performs badly like Sunfeast pulled his add after disastrous 2007 world cup
1) Tendulkar sign a 3 years deal with coke worth 20 crores in 2011 means till 2014 no chance of his retirment
2)Signed a 3 year contract with Amit Enterprise worth 9 crores.
3)Adidas contract which is 10 crores per anum until he plays active cricket
4) IPL 6 crores every year plus treat by neeta bhabhi additional
Google and search 17 contract tendulkar is handling and there is no new contract even after his 100 hundred as companies are unsure when he is retiring. That is why he says I am enjoying and cannot think of retirement

Now public say his 17 contract is worth 100 crore every year. Why would any selfish would kick those 100 crore a year and listen to 90% indian public which is gunning for his retirement and give youngster a chance
Fan following is good, but mad fans of tendulkar here are supporting for his every wrong doing and greediness.

Kick this fat money sucking leech from public circuit. To keep himself active in cricket, this leech has become MP in rajyha sabha and would be lobying with powerful rajeev shukla to delay his retirement and let the endorsement comes

'll give an example here. My Country mangager has done wonders to my company over the last 12 years. In the last 1 year he went negative in expenses. All of a sudden the bog heads started finding faults & insulted him. Then my manager came & told us that he had enough of all this & he wants to close this division down. He said we'll not continue, we'll make sure we'll completely close down. I have done so much for them etc.. Look at the situation, jsut because few insult u or talk bad about u, it doesn't mean u give up.
I remember in 2007, Mumbai crowd booed Sachin in the stadium. It was such a shock to me. So many people always write him off, they criticize him. but he still fights these odds. So really people should start analyzing his mental strength, his courage to stand-up again rather than finding faults.
Yes, I agree there are youngsters waiting to take place. But this will happen to every cricketer. Sehwag is 30 plus, u may want to replace him with a 20 year. Dhoni is 30 plus, again u want a 18year old. So every point its the same. Every field is same. No one will say I'm old in my job, let someone take my position in company. Everyone believes he still has something to give. When one feels within that he doesn't have that fire within him any more, he will quit. Money is not the only driving force for everyone. Money can be earned many ways. People can earn even after they retire. I beg to differ on your opinion

The article is about Lees's retirement. But our Indian friends have again dragged Sachin in. Arey baba..why don't you continue looking at your own careers? You will work till you are 60! But sachin should retire @ 36 only. How jealous! Today, the guys that have already retired and are commentrating want Sachin to join them! the guys playing in team would like him to empty the spot for one of them to take over. And general Indian public at large feel, "too much glory and money for one man! lets pull him down now and put someone else up there". this balancing act has nothing to do with merit or performance. It is pure jealousy. In your own job, how many of you will empty your our seats for some youngster to take over? there you wil talk about merit! how hypocritic. Sachin still wins a place in Indian team on merit.

awesome...u have shown the mirror to sachin critics. Moreover he is the best in test cricket and also he is not eating into someones place in ODIs. He hardly plays odis these days. Is he playing in SL? NO. H has hardly played any ODIs in the last few years. So why does anyone think that he is taking someones place.

Its so simple why Dhoni and party want Sachin out. Dhoni earns about 50 crores per year from advertisements and sachin earns 40 crores. Soif Sachin retires then Dhoni can have a share of pie from those 40 crores.

Wish him very best for BigBash and IPL..

And to Sachin, u should play in test as we believe and result says show that u are still highest run scorer in test no matter how many comes and goes. But in ODIs, u should leave to youngsters let them develop themselves by playing international matches so that we will ve a good team for 2015
