I don't know why he wants to be in Indian Cricket team. Selectors say he wants to extend his career by taking rest in one-dayers to be played in Srilanka and playing endlessly in IPL! Why it is not compulsory for all to play every match India plays in India or Abroad (let it be Bangladesh or Australia)? Does Tendulkar thinks he is doing a favour by playing for the country? This attitude is not in the benefit of the Indian Cricket. He has played a lot for the country He is blocking the way for a potential player. Who is going to tell him that he has played his best for the country and now his performance has to drop only. Why wait for that to come? Or is he waiting for his son to grow up and transfer the baton to him. Just can't understand this. All the best to team India

You guys have lost it completely!! We are lucky to be enjoying watching a legend in action & rather than relishing the genius who thankfully is able to continue playing for the country albeit when he can, its a pity there are some off you who just don't seem tired of finding only negatives. Get a life dearies!

Look Mr Idiot : He is available for 2 months for IPL club cricket and then there is 1.5 months gap Last time he palyed 2 months ipl and then did not go to WI . What does this mean? What do u mean being able to play for country? He flopped miserably in Eng and Aus yet is given his choice when to play and when not? Is Indain team his personal property? Get a life Mr Idiot

Hey marathi, please dont support someone just for the sake of SRT being a marathi.I am also a marathi, the guy above is right. In the first place he went to tour country like Bangladesh to score his hundreth hundred. He said he does not believe superstitions and that is why he has keeping the same hairstyle he scored at the time of that hundred till now. Then he said he still has cricket left in him then why is he not going now and on top of it this guy sold the FERRARI "WHICH WAS GIFTED" to him by non other than LEGENDARY MICHEAL SCHUMACHER which he SOLD was the biggest shocker. There is a limit to fooling everyone and we are not kids. Over the years this man has become selfish,self centered and self proclaimed Patriotic sportsman. I would request him to just give us a break.

You guys are pathetic!! Sachin is reverred across the world for the genius that he is & we are lucky he played for India & should feel proud of the way he has so gracefully carried the Indian flag & the monumental expectations that there are from all his fans. This is typically the Indian mentality...rather than enjoying & feeling priveledged seeing the man in action, you guys would want to use the platform to not only find negatives but also bring state politics & if possible find space for caste issues. Grow up guys!
