The way England batsmen played against two spinners (one chucker) shows the weakness of those players. England bundled out for 72 runs!! We played our worn out pace bowlers Ishanth and Zaheer who bowled effectively only in the first session of the game and then clobered by even tailenders. Sehwag did a blunder of his life not to play Pragyan Oza in the final Test. Oza is a superb spinner and was in form but expensive Yadav was given a chance in his place. Australians must be thanking Sehwag for his generosity.
com on india u can do it every team has it. in coming yrs u will emerge a world beater if u take this lessons quite seriously. even u can take the bets that to without sachin and dravid or even vvs.
tracks are made by and for the napunsak players benefit. one of the main reasons that foreign media ignores the tonnes of records by indian subcontinent players is very obvious that these coward players play well at home and fail miserably playing away. it requires guts and skills to play on bouncy tracks. arent those also batsmen friendly? sachin was highest scorer in wc2003. pitch at adelaide was so nice to bat on for first three and half days.

Surendra,
By the same token, isn't it also fair to expect the other countries not to whine when they come to India and play on spinning tracks..after spin and pace are part of cricket, why tell bouncing wickets are sporting (when it actually provides unfair advantage to Fast bowlers and if it turns, the pitch is called a dust-bowl & all that crap). You play well on both..for that matter, aussies have lost their last 5 test matches in India, does anyone talk about it...whereas India has done relatively better in australia until this disastrous tour.

The problem is not spin. India can make spinning pitches alright. But it has to be true. What India does is prepare under prepared pitches where the bounce and turn are uneven. What ever bounce, pace or turn there is, it should be even.
rediff shows clear biases - either negative or positive towards a particular player. the writer is critical of his batting outside india conveniently forgetting his exploits in s a & last australia tour. jai rediff , jai sachin

Dude! Last Oz tour it was Akash Chopra who opened with Sehwag and not GG. GG was not even in the squad!
Gambhir is jealous and afraid of Ashwin. He is always targeting him.
May I think, Ashwin has a cool head and too smart for Gambhir. May be Gambhir is dreaming of becoming captain of Indian team one day! And Ashwin is the biggest threat for him!
Virat Kohli is a much much better player than Gambhir!

Ashwin & India's captain??? On what grounds??? What is his performance so far apart from licking Dhoni's foot???
