This statement is nothing but marketing gimmick to attract (now fast loosing) spectators. These limited overs tournaments too are not expected to garner any better performance from us.
On another note, congrats to Arthur for having a great start to his coaching job with Aus. He played a big role for SA, and his services won't be forgotten.

Such comments are planted by BCCI to spice up Cricket and attract viewers. India is cricket loving nation and max spectators live here only. This is the reason why all drama is done.
We can win in Australia. Leander Paes proved it ...Wait - who is he?? He is the guy who won Australian open doubles at age close to 40. We are however focussed on how India will do in 20-20 and did not even care to read about a Grand slam victory by an Indian. This is tru "confused" patriotsim..

abs corect. ind fans deserve such harsh treatment from their heros. coz they hv set wrong idols n praise unworthy g_0_d_like players.
India will be a strong team only if we remove all old horses worth for nothing but ad filming and making game a fun. If BCCI can fabricate win for World cup,why can't they purchase any such coach to speak in favour of Old cricketers and protect their skin. Till board committee will be like this, there will be steady decline in viewership. Already many notches down , Cricket has reached.

BCCI did not fabricate world cup..India won because the ground conditions suited us better than others..in australis fixing is out of question...but belive we will do much better on odi and t20 because the old / injured langda horses left

My dear friend, the second of the lot to get caught in the betting scam (after the South Africans) were the Australians, most importantly the Australian gladiator Shane Warne! That is a proven fact. So no reason to assume that 'fabrication' is not possible in Australia!

The Aussies didn't throw any matches. They gave pitch information I believe.

Even I feel matches were fixed the way it unfolded. It is better to lose match than to win it with such practices. Fans love battlefight but not boardroom fixers.

difficult to believe..do you all the cricket players from sl, austrALIA, nz, england are fools..? they only play for money..?
"I really hope he does, because it breeds competition in the squad, and, as I have always said, nobody has a permanent place in the Aussie cricket team.
This was the only difference between India and Australia. Result, a big shame to country
