Sachin should be dropped or be given warning
by cc man on Jan 31, 2012 02:06 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin should be dropped or be given warning. This pathetic, looser(because he is not a champion/warrior) has been taking his place for granted by thinking that no one can dare to warn him to play well else dropped, dropped, or asked to retire.

Selection committee should convey the following warning to him at any cost other wise he will end up being a great burden in playing eleven at the expence of buddying youngsters like Kohli etc.

"Look Sachin, we will always be thankful to your contributions so far but unfortunately 95% of the time, those contributions never occured when team india needed most especially under pressure whether its in contest or no contest matches. So, at this juncture of your career considering 22yrs of cricket and ur age, unless and until you keep playing stellar knocks consistently especially when team india needed you and especially under pressure in contest or no contest matches, it does not make any reason to retain you still in the playing eleven. We want you to deliver stellar knocks consistently at this juncture of ur career so that its inspirational to future cricket of India. So, please treat this as first and final warning, think about it and let us know ur plans by end of ODI series. We are running out of time and we will give you only more test series. And if you fail to deliver, u have no choice to retire voulnteerily or get dropped. Also, we want atleast one triple hundred and 2 big double hundreds. Thank you once again, Mr. Sachi

Well said... We need to tell Sachin that we expect GREAT things from him, and he can no longer play like an Indian batsman scoring 70s and 80s... he MUST come up with big hundreds to justify our enormous faith in him... if he continues to fail compared to his usually impeccable standards then he needs to retire in the same manner as we are asking Kohli to retire... :)

if the 3 oldies r there n still v lose the series 8-0 overseas with 2 whitewashes, then its better to lose with new comers n youngsters atleast that vl b our investment for future ckt in ind.

Good point...

We should send a completely new team now... considering that even after having Zaheer, Ishant, Yadav and Ashwin we've lost 8-0 abroad...

Not to mention Kohli's Sachin like (in your parlance "selfish") century during the Adelaide debacle..

We dont care if they come strong or not in ODI, Arthur saab
by cc man on Jan 31, 2012 12:23 AM

We dont care if they come strong or not in ODI considering Indian team failing shamelessly in test series which is real testimony of talent, performance, greatness etc. Even though Indian wins ODI series, it wont heal the wound of 8-0 combined debacle with Eng,Aus.

ODI & T20
by Alphaone on Jan 31, 2012 12:15 AM

Even with a batting pitch, Team India is not likely to come up good in the upcoming ODI and T20 series. Team is not hungry to win matches for the country.

"They've got players in who bring a huge amount of enthusiasm -- the likes of (Suresh) Raina, Rohit Sharma," as if rohit wasnt there in test team!

T20 is pure entertainement
by Gurjot Singh on Jan 30, 2012 11:27 PM

If Australia does not prepare a pitch that is too much pace friendly, T20 should be an even match.
Regarding ODI tri-series, it is too difficult to make a call. But I will be surprised if India bounces back since Aussies have no reason to give up on pace friendly pitch.
