A team can be bad overseas but this is the limit. even when Australia come to India, they lose narrowly and not within 4 days. this last test went to the fifth day only because the aussies clobbered the Indian bowlers for a day and a half. This Indian team needs to apologise to the whole nation and voluntarily resign. Winning a World Cup does not give them the licence to play this badly. They are lucky not to get a beating from the president like many football teams get when they play this poorly. This series shows total lack of commitment from the Indian players. No country has ever played so badly for so long. These players are overpaid and they should be fined for the humiliation caused to the nation. Also, the BCCI should refrain from sending any team to play tests to Australia for the next 20 years. They should practice hard and not give excuses about the pitch. And most importantly, watch the words before going overseas to play. Some people were saying that this was the best chance for the Indian team to win a test series in Australia. Yeah right!!!

SRT theGreat

I am so proud that we have a player of His caliber- HisGreatness is amazing. The way other teams BowAndScrape before Him. I want Him to play till he is at least 50. Other oldies canRetire- but He never will. JaiSachin JaiMaharashtra

His name itself evokes Greatness. The way His bat moves to hit the ball and the speed with which He runs on the field, you would think He is still 16. HisHunger has not reduced. He will play till he is 50 and other oldies will come and go- He is the Indian team- He is SRT. We salute youMaharashtra for having given birth to such an OustandingSon whom weFans canWorship on theField forever and ever. JaiSachin JaiMaharashtra.

Indians lack technique to play in conditions which suit fast bowling.Indian captain is very defensive and lacks the charisma and flair required to lead India.Even, the new coach looks very ordinary and does not seem to be any kind of inspiration for the Indian team.

Congrats
by Arun Kumar on Jan 28, 2012 02:02 PM

Well we Indian should congratulate Crick Aus for they played really well, and Clarke and his team has perform really well to come up in Ranking as they have strong opponents such as South Africa, Eng which would not as easy to beat as they did against India which is much weaker side especially when they play abroad, they just lack technical skill on playing fast pitches..

beating India is no yardstick to be considered a super team...
You will be considered the best, if u win the 2013 ashes, bcoz that is what real test cricket is all about.
Indian cricket is all about money and there is hardly any talent or quality in sub-continent teams..

I wonder how this team managed the number 1 position without any bowlers...

even a lay man aussie knows this..but clarke is trying to protect himself and others careers to safety by issuing this statement..he knows that eng or SA can easily bulldoze them..
