lackness in every area
by ashish kumarsingh on Jan 28, 2012 02:33 PM  | Hide replies

Whole team need to be change. This team proved that their job has been completed after winning the world cup.they went for Australia not for playing cricket rather to broke heart of whole indian fans all over the world.
During whole tour they just did shopping and honeymoon. They had no winning attitude even 5% through out the series.Whole team should be punished. There should be no mercy for any one even sachin also not proved himself.Indian coach should also change with immediate effect. There is no need for such looser coach. Before india fletcher was the coach of English team what happened of that team everyone well known.
So,India should replace fletcher as soon as possible.
All the rascal seniors from sachin to ishant sharma should be ban for 25 test matches.

PLEASE - First and Foremost, Vacate Australia and come back home, as your team is Fit to be Heroes only in Home soil & in IPL.

I am beginning to doubt whether a New Indian Test team would have the ability to beat Australia 4-0 inside India.

You guys have Tarnished India's Image by Playing so poorly.

DO NOT READ TOO MUCH
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Jan 28, 2012 02:12 PM

Aus.you have done a great job - congratulations .First for putting the Indian Gods -Crikceters in the right place , second teaching BCCI what you can do we can do better -big bash . Only thing do not read this win of series too much if you do it is only toyuor peril .First time all the three stalwars failed togehter. In management we have an adage - if you do the things in the same way ,you will get the same results if not more horrible results. The batting order does not change , the players does not change , the strategies does not change , min two bad balls per over does not change etc etc. Play with England or SA and get such results - you know and we know it is not possible .
Time like nuetral Umpires - we need nuetral curators and standards on pitch preparations - other wise the results are all like this .India ,Sri Lanka etc great world champs in their home but paupers in alien conditions . Evey fool knows o beat India you need pitches which assits swing ,speed of the pitch and just at rib cage - So what BCCI the best managed s[port in India has to say .I am only suprised with so many politicians resrvation system has not come other tahn zonal ones.

height of ineptitude
by Ameya Ghate on Jan 28, 2012 02:09 PM  | Hide replies

A team can be bad overseas but this is the limit. even when Australia come to India, they lose narrowly and not within 4 days. this last test went to the fifth day only because the aussies clobbered the Indian bowlers for a day and a half. This Indian team needs to apologise to the whole nation and voluntarily resign. Winning a World Cup does not give them the licence to play this badly. They are lucky not to get a beating from the president like many football teams get when they play this poorly. This series shows total lack of commitment from the Indian players. No country has ever played so badly for so long. These players are overpaid and they should be fined for the humiliation caused to the nation. Also, the BCCI should refrain from sending any team to play tests to Australia for the next 20 years. They should practice hard and not give excuses about the pitch. And most importantly, watch the words before going overseas to play. Some people were saying that this was the best chance for the Indian team to win a test series in Australia. Yeah right!!!

if u see apart from adelaide and scg, even the aus batting crumbled...because they purposefully prepared greenish pitch in mcg and perth..similarly, in order for india to win against aus in india inside three days, we should prepare a minefield of a spin pitch..not like pitches which will last for 5 days..

Both of you are right.
Our bowlers had less stamina compare to OZ because their body is working in summer condition when it should be in winter cycle (a energy preserving time in our continent). Secondly they are not practiced/nurtured for the pace system of OZ. They don't had aggression and playing like for charity. Another thing is the bowler expect some contribution from fielders and their batsman, which was not there.

I can't say this OZ team is best, because non other than Ponter and Clark did consistently good. Remaining OZ batsman fell like Indian. Warner shined once in a moon time. And OZ customized the pitch for it. I bet, if Hilfenhaus was bowling for Indian side, all OZ player will be out for 150 runs.
