The national team must be selected from domestic cricket like, Ranji, Dulip, Inter University & Coocbihar trophies. Not from Tamasha matches like IPL. What is the performance of players picked on basis of performance in IPL? Only 3 players in this test squad are less than 30 years. How the team can stand against young players. The senior players must be dropped so that young blood gets chance. It is the high time to reconstitute the team.

Mate i am amaze at your comments. The quality of our domestic tournaments are shockingly poor and you still believe they produce good cricketers?

At what cost he scored runs, struggling to reach his hundred. If he was so interested he had three days to score his 100. His very presence is demoralizing the youngsters. How many youngsters were warming the benches? How many are trying to get into team India, at least to warm the benches.
this is humiliating.one even cant imagine this teamwas one once a number side in the world.its a collective failure of batsmen who has let us down in australian pitches.simply disgusting.that's it.
It ll b really shame thing as a indian to narrate the defeat..But what else a poor indian fan can do, really our heroes let all the indians down by this kind of effort, it is really a tame surrender to a meak Australian team...Anyway forget these bitter memories n bless all the best for the next t 20 and tringular series to salvage some pride and dnt expect the team to become champion atleast show some fighting spirits........

For me these results are simply unaccpetable. We assume that IPL has generated plenty of youngsters who can compete at international level. Clearly we dont have such luxury at Test level. I will wait for the shorter versions of the game, see the results and make a judgement. I have a feeling that apart from T20 Indian team does not meet international standard. It is a well known fact that cricket team fails abroad consistently. What is the remedy?

Remedy is for the BCCI to make fast, bouncy pitches...in 10 years our batsmen will get used to playing seam/swing/pace and we will have some genuine quicks. However, until Indian public keeps shouting "Four" and "Six" this will not happen!
