Too Much Cricket
by Anna T on Jan 27, 2012 05:32 PM

the media should talk less of cricket and focus on other important issues that mean so much to the country as well as the citizens. programs like Dadagiri should be stopped - it adds nothing other than mere bullshit and waste of media time.

A lighter side to things....

I was wondering all this while why did Clarke not enforce the follow on? 604 was out of reach in two innings by the current line up. The Aussie bowlers were not tired...the India batting is all beat up. Then looking at the first three tests getting over in 4.5,3 and 2.5 days resp. I think CA must have asked Clarke to at least prolong this into the 5th day given the pounding gate collections and sponsor revenue must have taken in the first three tests as they keep getting over so soon.

yes, ur right. they wanted to crowd to come to see an aussie victory on the 5th day, falling on a weekend.. Moreover,Sharad Pawar would have requested Clarke not to hand over a hatrik inning defeat to Indians..

What a waste

We goofed up big time by not giving chances to Ajinkya Rahane, Pragyan Ojha & Rohit Sharma. The series was already lost. At least the younger players could have got a feel of the conditions before the next series down under.

It is the adamant attitude of the team management not to give chance to others . MSD seems to be very partial to some players. He is quite averse to include others whom he does not like. While Sehwag is a brainless cricketer and does not know whom to include , whom to leave.

this is too much. think of the country and not one person and going on giving chances even after realizing that he is old. if we do not wake up , others will overhaul us in every field.

The money cricketers earn as match fee is fraction of what they earn in IPL and endorsement contracts. Only if BCCI has guts they should drop non performers
