Why Pak had not returned to home following your tips when they last visited Aus to avoid whitewash?

Pakistan as team play much more spirited and competitively than Indian team. Indian team is a bunch of non performing pension aged cricketers who cant even move their feet. I would bet Pakistan team if put in Indias current position has a bigger chance to win against Australia. Current Indian team is a bunch of non performing youngsters and pension aged seniors who keep boasting about their past statistics which is of new use here

You are talking non-sense. I am not in favour of Pakistan but I am just giving a comparison of Indian cricketers against even other countries in sub-continent. You are stuck upon my "Pakistan" usage. I had just used 1992 example to show that Indians are rats outside. Australia have won ashes in England, they hvae won in SA, Pakistan have 1992 world cup.. Why cant India win even once in bouncy pitches. YOu are talking rubbish and non-sense. I think you started watching cricket only few days back. Look at history from 1990 and you can see that India had always been croppers against bouncy bowling. So stop making silly comments and sit mum.

Mr. Panner. You absolutely doesnt have any sense of talking. I told you numerous times that I am not a supporter of Pakistan I just took Paki example in 1992. You dont have the power to grasp or understand the facts - too naive to talk about cricket. Better you stopped commenting

Your brains degraded power of understanding cannot be taken as excuse for branding me Paki. Infact you are Paki becos you dont want to criticize Indian team for improving its performance and you still behave like the pension people in BCCI like N. Srinivasan

Result of Last tour of Pak in Aus

Test 0-3 defeat
ODI 0-4 defeat
T20 0-2 defeat (including the ball biting episode)

Last time Pakistan won a test series against Australia (anywhere in the world) was in 1994

Hi HUhumba, dont just get hung upon my "Pakistan" example...You are just banking on some draw or one match win to support the current non performing Indian team and dead slow pitches. If you see 90% of the people opinion in the forum, you form only the remaining 10% who think like the pension aged people in BCCI. Grow up Man

I am not supporting any player, and I agree that we are playing pathetic cricket, and players like Dravid, Laxman (but not yet, Sachin) should retire.

My point is batting in dead slow wickets is as challenging as in fast wickets, and we should not give up making wickets suiting us.

We should have a few green tops at home, for practicing before a away tour, but the foreign team should be put in dead spinning tracks, the same way they are putting us in tracks which suit them.

No Offense to Sachin but time to think ahead
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 23, 2012 05:49 PM  | Hide replies

Its time to think about Match winners not record holders. Sachin is a batting great but has never been a Match-winner. We have seen in the past that he has never delivered in a crucial knockout match when we expected him to swing fortunes in favour of India. Many people had commented that he scored many centuries opening the batting which led to India's winning in many matches but they cant be bracketed as absolute match-winning efforts. A Match-winning effort is something where a player takes initiative, puts in 80% of his efforts, coming in a crucial stage of the game where the team is about to lose and swings fortunes in the favour of the team who is struggling. In that manner, Sachin is never a match-winner. If the whole Indian batting had collapsed in the past when Saching got out, why didnt Sachin come out and bat at No.4 or No.5 and rescue India. Ponting, Miandad, Steve Waugh, Michael Bevan have done such things numerous times but I cant recollect a single instance like that for Sachin. We had numerous situations in England and Australia where Sachin could have played match winning knocks and not once he delivered in that. So time to think beyond Sachin. Look at Australia - they dont have players who can boast of big statistics but each one of them play competitively

Heading stringly to WHITEWASH
by lee on Jan 23, 2012 05:40 PM

Team India is strongly heading to 4-0 defeat white wash as they might play the same loosing combination 11 and probably get Ashwin who can't spin instead of that other slow spin bowler.
Schewag - Gambhir are absolutely out of tough and lack the aggression. Both are afraid of Aussi bowlers now. Dravid will either get bowled or lbw as he is working on his technique to not get bowled. instead he should think in scoring a 100, however the weak mindset is all set. Tendi.. thinking why am I not getting a 100 still. Rest all are single digit scorers basically.
If Aussies bat first, then the match might run for 3-4 days but if India bats first, then the match should get over within 3 days again.

Make Rohit, Ojha, Pujara, Rahane rest and run towards a good white wash.
Excellent team selection !!!

Indian team is good only on Grandma slow flat pitches
by powerful Goldstar on Jan 23, 2012 05:28 PM  | Hide replies

Final conclusion is Indian players cannot move their feet against fast swing bowling. They are good against below average teams like Bangladesh or West Indies and that too on dead slow pitches like what we have in India where ball doesnt bounce above knee level. They lack the application or agility of teams like Aus, SA or even Pakistan. Even Pakistan players put a competitive fight. Remember Pakistan won World cup in Australia in 1992 in Australia. India winning World cup in India (in its own den) is not a big deal. If the venue was in any other country, India would not have won the World cup. Dhoni and Sehwag have become the shame faces of Indian Cricket.

your disappoint is understandable, but why the foreign team cannot perform in flat indian pitches.? who stops them.? australia, england, south africa, nz all failed in the wc...? the fact is that Indians are world champions..you can see them in coming triangular ODI series..

Thats the point. A world champion team should perform in all types of pitches, if India performs only in subcontinent, then they are not champ material anymore.

In cricket, there is nothing like Foreign team or local team. I put the single instance of Pakistan winning world cup in Australia in 1992. Why have India not won a single world cup outside India since 1985. Dont boast any more about 1983

@GoldStar : If so,you too don't boast of Pak's 1992 win which has many flaws in the league matches and in semifinals...Infact Pak won the cup mainly due to Luck, they were thrashed by WI and the finalist Eng miserably in the league matches

What were the flaws in the league matches - Pakistans Inzamam turned around fortunes against Kiwis and helped Pak finally wrest the world cup. I had watched all games in the 1992 world cup and if there were flaws in the cricketing rules or laws, it had affected all teams alike. In World cup 2011 also, didnt India get thrashed in the League matches. I think you are too naive about cricket. Only thing which matters is you get to the semi finals and finally thru the finals in World cup. No body is worried about league matches like you. So stop making silly comments and just rely on statistics. The history is there for all to see.

Mr. Panner, dont bank on words "If"s or "But"s. Talk based on realities and happenings. I could also say "If Sachin had not got out
" or "If Zaheer had taken 5 wickets". Your talks doent seem to have any sense based on Indias performance history.

Mr. Panner, if you are not capable of understanding facts, its not a problem with me. Dont brand me as Paki. Infact you are Paki becos you dont want Indian cricket to improve. You just want India to keep playing like this - become croppers in all abroad tours and be underestimated to Pakistan. So who is the real Paki - defenitely you.
