Oh pulizzzzzz ... if there is any batsman who shud be retained, it is Sehwag. Tendulkar should be dropped 10 times before you even look to drop Sehwag.
thre were times when although a batsman score tons of runs, his calibre used b measured how much he scores against wi attack in wi pitches. this is the time of marshal, holding, garner, etc.
but now v hv forgotten the said yardstick (although wi has lost their pace battery n their pitches as well) but v dont measure a player's calibre against pacy pitches n against genuine pacers. n hype them on ipl performances. no wonder ind wud lose away sereis.
No one should forget that india became No. 1 test nation due to many of his flamboyant innings that gave ample time for the toothless bowling to bowl out the opposition twice. The present poor performance of indian team can be attributed to the poor form of this one man, not the so-called gods of cricket, whose performances have never inspired the team to victories. It is better to give him a break for one or two series that he comes back to form and leads india back to the top

What is the use of being No.1 when you are only used to home ground conditions. Your real skills are being tested here. So he has to prove his potential if he has one. That's all everyone is asking.
