This guy seems to be Digvijay Singh of Cricket. Now we can have full blown entertainment in cricket also. good to see someone with verbal diarrhea in cricket

Srinivasan was misquoted. He was trying to say "India can still be beaten by any side in the world"

WHO WANTS SUCH HOLLOW STATEMENTS ?
by damodaran mohan on Jan 20, 2012 02:23 PM  | Hide replies

Making such hollow statement will only make people feel more angry on the TEST bunglings and would further lower BCCI image.Instead of talking in such generalities better let Mr. Srinivasan talk of the next TEST at Adelaide.Forget winning, can he at least assure people that the it will not be a meek surrender but that Team Management would come up with a professional plan and would not be guided by considerations of big Names ? That the Indians would put up a good fight to make a match of it at Adelaide ?

hi mohan do you really think BCCI has any image at all ? ask any school boy they will laugh at the statement made by Mr. srinivasan. Instead of rectifying things he is just making statements which are baseless. A team can play one test bad but not 7 on a trot.

(India can still beat any side in the world: Srinivasan)

Your 100% correct Sir. Team India can beat Kenya, Bangladesh, UAE, Canada, Netherland, Scotland. Only if they play at our home turf....

Great optimist
by valaparla swarup on Jan 20, 2012 01:50 PM  | Hide replies

It is nice to hear such statements from the BCCI chief He will be a perfect foil to the likes of Ravishastri
We all support Indian team win or loose
but dont make such crackling jokes
We lost we are not good enough Earlier bowling was pedestrian now the aging midlle order and the samurai virender has failed
We should think of phasing the elders and give chance to juniors in phased manner oonce they are drafted give enough chances The process of rebuilding need to start and no false bravado like Srinivasan let him not give any loose statements
We are down at the moment we will become tigers at home again that is not enough prepare the team for the combat on fast pitches australia and england Any way better said than done
