Mr Srinivasan is correct
by rama anne on Jan 21, 2012 09:55 AM  | Hide replies

To all people out there
----
Iam an Indian cricket fan
----
lots of people are simply posting comments to counter srinivasan statements or just post negative statements

Mr Srinivasan is correct in saying that ,we had given tough competition to aust in 2003 and 2008 series
we have won adelaide and perth test matches ,came close to winning the SYD test match as well
----------

Current Tour
------------
===========
Indian batsmen especially openers did not last even a single session

middle orders did not apply and practise properly and not in right frame of the mind

SACHIN playes brialliantly and has had bad luck at perth test given LBW as well
------------------
Also this time ,aussies make sure all aspects are worked out and win is a must
it is also a revenge and grudge based series as well

so I request all Indian Fans to give benefit of doubt and rally behind Sachin ,Laxman and Dravid
these guys are good batsman
----
as for YOUNGER batsman getting chances ,let there be INDIA A team and let this team tour Aust ,west indies ,south africa first and play some competitive domestic format and fine tune to those conditions
----
we will also get the BOWLING machines
make some GREEN turf wickets in either Mohali or Nagpur and in a phased manner ,we will replace the senior batsman with younger batsman in 2 years time
-----
Also I keep on hearing NDTV media people ,keep on calling western media like BBC ,aussie media

why should NDTV media impose aust views in what they did inside australia should necessarily be done by BCCI

for Example the news reader at NDTV asks on debate ,if acb has replaced performing senior players with younger players why not in India

question is
----
because India is India and not Australia

yes we need to get professional ,but does not mean ,we have to accept others approaches

solutions are many and varied ,we must do in Indian context

so yes until we make sure ,we have younger batsman ,fully exposed to conditions abroad and mature ,we just cannot replace Indian players with a knee jerk reaction

---
I agree with Mr Srinivasan statement 100 percent that Indian team can beat any team and is a capable team

India Can beat any side
by Jawahar Agrawal on Jan 21, 2012 09:34 AM

This can be happen when IPL playing cricketer will be banned for playing international matches otherwise we can beat in one or two match but cannot win series against strong team like Austalia,Africa & england. Similarly, we should not wait for century of Sachin. Making century by sachin will only make record & nothing else, he should try best to contribute team for winning match.

by this statement, N.S. is not ready to accept his failure and accountability. its saying indirectly, "Even if the players fail, I am not responsible"..

typical congress mentality..

Accept the inability of the team India to tackle
fast quality Bowling on a lively Pitches, You can't win on luck alone,Captain's inability to read the ability of his men is lit large is a cause of concern.Decision to bat First is the sole cause of defeats.

this is a fact known from a long time

how will players alone be responsible

BCCI team management should put in place measure and long term plans
-----
get some bowling machines
make some green turfs etc

if they would have done the above ,change would have happened
by this time
----
agree aust PLAY sports well does not mean ,we just start to think India low and rip apart everything with some knee jerk reactions

time to go to school
by Sarat Chopra on Jan 21, 2012 05:34 AM  | Hide replies

BCCI chief N Srinivasan should go back to school and learn active and passive voice grammer chappter again. The correct grammer is "India can be beaten by anyteam in the world and not India can beat any team." The law of nature is accept defeat and you will improve otherwise more failures are awaited. Our BCCI board should be scraped and made to resign. But, my mistake, there is no culture of resigning or opting for retirement with we Indians.

What a message from Mr. Srinivasan... (he may go any buy few more franchises... What does he knows about cricket? Indian Cricket will be in a problem if BCCI does not act now... They need to curb money from IPL etc.,

It is easy to write / criticise and be sarcastic.........but difficult to perform. No one practices what they preach. Politicians of mid 70's and past 80's clean or corrupt performers or non performers are accepted by society and guys do not look at the performance of these very few seniors who have done well very recently. They are ageing no doubt and they are great gentleman they will take a call. Just for the sheer sincere contribution they have given to the Team they should be allowed to exit in gr8 style.
