he belongs to Chennai super kings team which is owned by the BCCI President. They want to keep the brand floating.
looks as if dhoni is favouring his CSK teammate. Dinesh kartik, besides being good behind d stumps, is also a decent batter. He has opened for india with moderate success

Also, he left Sachin stranded in Ninetees in a One day International recently (about a year back) by scording all the 20 runs required at that time to win denying Sachin a well deserved Century. Since then he is not seen in the Indian team

if so he had done a good job, srt should retire, all ill things started to india cricket since we started worrying more about is 100 than an indian win
Your fundamentals must be very strong if you are to shine at Australia.
Saha will find it difficult to shine. In fact no Indian can shine unless Australia allows him to shine.Indians are pretty average in a game played by a handful of nations.
The cricketers must get match fee equal to the footballers, hockey players and basketball players when they play for India.
Saha is possibly the best wicket keeper in India now. Much better than Dhoni as a wicket keeper. It is true he will again go into the dark hole courtesy slectors but he the best now available resource. His batting is also good and have played some important knoks for his state team, though looking at Dhonis recent form if Saha does not do well with bat it wont matter .

I think Saha is better equipped Keeper compared to Dhoni anytime. Unfortunate that Dhoni seems indispensable. Lets see if Indian Test Cricket finds a new Captain long term. Best options could be new faces like South Africa did by projecting Smith. India should find Pujara, Rohit, etc... Definitely not Sehwag for his indifferent batting technique.
These yougsters if brought in now, will get benefit from Seniors like Dravid and Tendulkar quickly.

The selectors picked Parthiv Patel for the ODIs!! Parthiv has not scored even one 50plus score in his last 14 ODIs. The less said about his keeping the better!
Why was W. Shaha not retained for the ODIs? He was already in Australia and would be well acclimatized to Australian conditions.

Simple! Dhoni is protecting his position. He knows very well that Parthiv will never be able to replace him. In my opinion, Ambati Rayudu should have been taken instead of Parthiv. He is a brilliant batsman and keeping is good enough for ODIs.
