yes, this will reduce electricity bill & save power for industries
Nothing. Team India need not do anything. We Team India need to ignore them for a while. Result: 1) The players will be brought down to earth. 2)BCCI will suffer a hit in pocket to some extent 3) This will reflect in team salary 4) Endorsements will dry a bit 5) Only passionate cricketers will stay on 6) The quality will improve overall.

Stop paying to the Players by the BCCI and see how many are interested in playing for the country without payment, then the next move can be made by the BCCI, public, selectors etc. The real face of the players will also be known after that.

Then what do u think is the solution? Replacing people who dont know tests with people of the same category? It is better that u also think before posting ur comments :)

replacing people who are past their prime with people who can reach their prime with the confidence given to them by the selectors.

Dravid is the best man for #3 position. Sachin wont move from #4 position. Laxman is not in form, so no use even if he plays at #1 or #10. Then how does mixing the order help?

All of us are gunning for vvs, which means we expected only vvs to save the indian cricket team. This expectation was raised by VVS on many occasions by saving the team from hopeless position and bringing us glory. It is real cruelty.Ponting,Dravid and many many greats had gone thru such failures and have come back to score well.Sky will not fall if we allow VVS to play few more tests and give him a well deserving farewell.

I agree Ravi. But VVS is in the discussion mostly because of his poor avg of 20.3 from the England series.
t has become a common practice nowadays to fix the pitches to favour the home team. As a result most of the teams have become paper tigers outside their country.Look at England-- who were crowned the No.1 team after beating India by 4-0, are struggling to make even 200 as the Dubai pitch is fixed to suit Pakistani spinners. So, I think, the ICC ratings have no meaning and value. Unless, every country ready to prepare the pitches that help both the teams, one cannot judge the teams' performances. ICC should have some saying in the preparation of pitchessend somebody to inspect the pitches before the start of a series.
