I think Gavaskar was the only player who faced fast bowling with some comman from likes of Andy Roberts,Marshall,Holding of West Indies.And second best was his brother in-law G R Vishwanath. Gavaskar can contribute to India by coaching or giving valuable tips to young players and current players as how to face fast bowling.But who cares?
